Glassix

Glassix is a player-driven casual game that begins when the protagonist, having moved to a new town, receives a mysterious pair of glasses sent by his late father—an object that triggers a series of extraordinary events. Each day, you decide how to spend your time: explore the city to take on various quests, attend school to hone your skills, or work to earn money. Throughout your journey, you will encounter 34 unique girls, each with her own distinct personality. By using the glasses’ mind-control abilities, you can manipulate their perceptions and affections, opening doors to deeper interactions. As you unlock a variety of provocative animations, you’ll accumulate energy that can be used to acquire more powerful spells—tools to further bewitch these girls and build your own harem.

Collect sex energy and buy powerful spells to make your play easier and unlock new unique events.

Earn money by working or using girls.

Buy gifts, food and new outfits for the girls. Each girls have different tastes in food and gifts so be careful what you offer them.

Select an official girlfriend and unlock new things to do with her.

Reach good or bad ending depending on your choices. Two unique endings for each girl. Or maybe you'll find a way to reach the holy grail, full harem ending.

Glassix its an old game and it shows. But its also a really good sandbox.The final version has correct most of the issues related to know how and when to trigger the events and as long as you progress, it gets better.The girls are so generic that are mostly dolls, but there are a ton, each one has her perks and you can do pretty much whatever you want once you corrupt them enough. And that's the biggest strenght: Earn the right to play with the dolls in the sandbox almost completly free.Do you prefer girls with more character? Would you prefeers games were you dont have to grind? In those cases, it would be an skip.

Quite a journey for me since I started playing this game. The game size was miuch smaller back then as I have been with this game since half of the way, though the game mechanics can be a bit janky, it is now a classic that will be with all of the way.Does need a bit of work to get the other scenes though. Some of us don't want to grind like hell to get to the good stuff.

See ShamusForSmut's review below for better, more-detailed thoughts on this game. tl;dr is that there's a lot of content here that works well enough, but the game is basically unplayable without some degree of "cheating" - that is, using features like the built-in map to help with navigation, or just boosting girls' obedience/affection to avoid grinds. Note that I would NOT recommend raising their "obedience level", as this basically will break the flow of the story.But it's interesting how this game has clearly bloated over time in ways that make it difficult for a fresh player to get started. This game has 30+ girls to interact with and you are sorta thrown into the deep end very quickly in terms of trying to navigate a pretty convoluted world - ideally there would be a more-gentle introduction where you gradually unlock new locations and girls, but... nope. If you persevere (and cheat appropriately) you will eventually get into a pretty rewarding grind, but many quality of life features are sorta lacking and you will eventually run into an endgame grind where you have to look up the specific narrow requirements to trigger scenes, and plan accordingly. But this can get frustrating pretty quickly, and I can't believe there's not a filter on the Events List that allows you to only select non-completed events or events that can be completed during specific days or times. I realize that development on this game is probably done, but some simple QoL would go a long way.

Fuck yes finally we have the completed tag. This game gave rise to a ton of tropes we see in games today. It is the ancestor, the progenitor of lewd games. Of course the graphics don't hold up to today's standards. But everything else is great! Most modern games don't have the expansive cast or story that glassix provides. Highly reccomend!

Summary:

The game uses a system of obedience and affection to determine whether the girl will follow your orders. You're be able to increase the girl's relation and obedience by giving simple commands and you will have to train them daily to make them more obedient. There are 4 levels of obedience and each time you reach a certain amount of obedience, you'll have to trigger a special event with the girl to unlock the next obedience level.
