The game has a rather interesting story that sees us take control of a sexy young lady who is a shapeshifter. She has her eyes on becoming the best historian ever so she leaves her home and heads to the big city to learn as much as she can about her kind and to also spread the word.The overarching story is not all that great if I am being honest with you, but Caliross, The Shapeshifter's Legacy throws different guilds at you such as the mage guild and the adventurers guild. Each of these has their own things to play through which is what I found interesting about the plot of the game.

The art style on offer here is quite interesting. I tend to think that these RPG Maker games all kind of blend together with their visuals and that is certainly the case for what Caliross, The Shapeshifter's Legacy is offering. I cannot say for sure what it is, but I had a real sense of Deja Vue the whole time I was playing this game as far as the visuals go. The main character is very easy on the eyes and there is some great lewd content in this game that has some amazing artwork. The game does not look bad by any means, but it does not really do a great deal in terms of sticking out from the other games that are made with RPG Maker.

While she may have her sights set on being a historian, you are going to have your hands full with a ton of other jobs in the game. The map is quite large and I will admit that Caliross, The Shapeshifter's Legacy can be a bit of a “where the hell am, I supposed to go?” kind of game however, you will find yourself working at a casino, taking part in a human-style cattle market and taking on a ton of different jobs for the various guilds that make up this world. There is always something to do and while it can be hard to know for sure what to do next, you will always stumble onto something.
