Bawdy Traditions is a game that follows the story of a married couple where the husband works as an article writer and his wife helps him out and supports him in his job since she doesn’t have one. One day they decide to go on a trip to an old town in the middle of the mountains as the ancient festivities are about to take place there and it would really make up for an interesting article.As the festivals are going to start and the people of the town are getting everything ready, the couple arrives in town. They have a pretty good first impression as it seems to be a nice town, but the villagers are quite impressed, it's been a long time since they've last seen such a beautiful woman. We quickly learn that most women, especially the sexiest ones have left town or are gone already. Johan and Leyna don't mind this much and try to interview some villagers to learn more about the traditions.The villagers seem to be needing a bit of feminine affection, and they all get really up, close, and personal with Leyna, and there's little to be done about it. How is the outsider couple going to react to all this unwanted and awkward attention? Well, you can go ahead and give Bawdy Traditions a shot to find out.

Overall, this was a really fun playthrough, and is a must play imo. the concept that you play as both the husband and wife is pretty damn unique. if i had to complaint about anything is that i wish there was more to it and it was very linear, basically a visual novel that you have to walk to each scene.If the dev is reading this and if they plan on adding more to the game, make is so that the player has a bit more freedom of choice to walk around with or without the husband whenever they want, make jobs repeatable and have the scenes play out differently depending on if you are with the husband or not, and in order to continue the story make it so the wife says something like "I better go with my husband for this" or something like that,  Also the wife went from i can't let my husband know about this to cucking him without a thought in the world really quick. There was also a point in the game that there was a dev message waning you that depending on your choice it can lead to dire consequences, and idk if i wasn't thinking clearly at that moment, but i really didn't understand the choices because i thought they were worded really strange, may be it was a translation issue idk. but most of the choices were plain as day, basically a simple yes or no, but that one choice that had the warning, it wasn't really clear to what i was choosing.keep in mind i've only played through one time and i of course picked the most lewd options, because who wouldn't do that the first go around. 

There are many elements in the game we are really used to seeing in other RPG Maker made lewd games such as Star Knightess Aura. Since RPG Maker is a pre-made engine, we see some reused visual elements and even more reused pop-ups and text boxes too. These elements are already prebuilt into the RPG Maker engine, and that's why you might feel that many of these games look and feel similar. Bawdy Traditions is created in RPG Maker, and that's why it has all these unused menus that we are used to seeing in RPG games, even if it doesn't really use them.

Conclusion:

A married couple travel to a town in the middle of the mountains to make an article about their traditions and festivals but things start to get out of control. The first impressions of the town are very good, but the villagers seem to be a little in need of affection. How will Leyna manage to be the only attractive woman in the area??
