Playing as the goo, you'll eat your way through six different time periods: modern, Late Cretaceous (i.e. dinosaurs), Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Feudal Japan, and the distant future. Each time period features a unique set of objects for you to eat. Mice, cats, Tyrannosaurus Rex, mummies, gladiators, and flying saucers are just a few of the hundreds of objects available for consumption.Levels can span vastly different object sizes; in one level you'll grow all the way from the size of an amoeba to the size of a galaxy. A complete 2-player cooperative game is also included so you'll be able to play the entire game with a friend. After completing the main game you'll unlock a ton of bonus levels that provide additional challenge.

Reviews:

Game is good, and unlike the first one it does not have up RNG for any gold medal, at least that I noticed throughout my playthrough, the struggle to get a gold medal was always within the difficulty of passing a bonus level (looking at you hovershield) and this feels like a better way to make the game.

Probably wouldve been my favorite game out of the entire series but for the love of god why is there achievements for 2 player gold medals

Even the 200k objects needed for an achievement wasnt taxing at all with how many more objects to eat on an average level there was.

I have to preface that this isn't a bad game, but it's repetitive, slippery, reuses so many assets and can feel unfun to play if you're actually trying to get the achievements.

Tasty Planet: Back for Seconds is a fun continuation of the fascinating Tasty Planet game. In this game you will control an alien who moves through a huge open world and eats everything in its path. Our funny hero will increase in size, and gain weight after each meal. Navigate the world and devour various things, from the smallest to the huge buildings and statues. Be extremely careful, because after you will be on the heels of many enemies will move that you want to feast on.
