Useful Tips:

Spamming and distance: I just tested with a second controller to see if spamming punch vs. pressing slower/holding the button made a difference in how fast you knock someone out and it doesn't, but distance does. So if you're really close to someone your fist are more likely to miss the head and brush by the ears, so spamming too close you're less likely to knock them out than if your arms have more range to move and connect with their head. Keep them at arms length if get what I mean. It's much better not to spam though unless you have to, but if your stuck-in-close a headbutt may be preferable.

Heavy Punch/Jump Kick: It's better to do heavy punches and jump kicks and avoid spamming, I almost never let go of the run button unless I have to conserve stamina for team games. For Heavy punches you want to be walking/facing towards them before you punch because trying to land one as you turn around is very difficult. If you can't turn around cause someones very close trying to heavy punch you use a jump kick instead because you can aim it no matter which direction you're facing, i.e. quickly hold in their direction, backwards of your current direction and shoot off a fast jump kick.

Regular Kicking: Most people seem to forget it exist because its hard to see. Sometimes you got someone knocked out really close to an edge and don't have enough time to pick them up and toss them before they wake up. You're often safer doing a kick instead of trying to lift them, It's hard to see cause the animals little stumpy legs but you can do a non-jump kick and send them off into the gray.

Player Comments:

Definitely a must have. First thing you'll notice in online games is does it have a matchmaking system that works = connecting you to a match in a short time. Yes for Party Animals. There are dedicated real users and some hidden bots mixed in. You win maybe half of the time, and it's chance, there are too many factors at play to gain an advantage. The controls are a bit tricky with stamina and weapons, so I found it pleasantly challenging. There are a couple different options for game modes, with random elements to keep it fun and fair.I like the gestures you can do pre match and the emojis you can send to the ring after you're knocked out. The costume shop is operational and not annoying, don't expect to unlock anything specific it's too pricy, but it doesn't impact gameplay.Hopefully the community stays alive. I don't think many of these are successful for very long. There are lots of knock-offs in this category, I feel are money grabs. This one took a good idea and made it work. Thanks for the escapism endorphins.

probably the best "friend slop" game that i've played within the last 10 or so years. this game is AMAZING! especially with friends.it's like gang beasts but it's actually innovative you know? like there's an objective in each mode, there's interesting maps, there's cool mechanics and funny ways to break the game, there's a ton of both cool and silly skins and even collab skins, and if you don't wanna pay for skins? all good, we got free codes and twitch prime drops.one of the best parts of the game is the ending podium. i love beating the absolute crap out of everyone while i fight for my life to stay on top of the stage for the photo LOL. it's almost like the winner's circle from bo3, except instead of being like "man this guy shouldn't even be in top 3!" you can quite literally FORCE THEM out of top 3 by throwing hands and knocking them out before the photo is taken. it's hilarious.also the items system in this game is quite cool, albeit busted, but neat in some ways. i like that one blue potion which makes you run really fast. it's useful for when you wanna annoy your friends by sucker punching them and then running away.get this game when it goes on sale, highly recommend. even at full price it's worth it, but getting it for half off is genuinely icing on the cake.

Fun game. Gets really repetitive after a few hours. Besides that - every match you play and get knocked out, theres barely anything to do besides waiting (they let you throw some stuff at alive players to disrupt their game but thats it). Youre just forced to be good at the game else you become just a spectator and that really breaks all the fun and immersion. Maybe lowering player count to like 2-4 would do justice, but having bigger teams is exhausting. Also some mini-games have like 6-7 rounds, which make some games too long for what they are. Some maps are flawed - castleween being too dark and you cant identify who is your teammate or enemy.

However, the physics engine can sometimes make movement unpredictable, which might frustrate players looking for precision combat. Still, that randomness is also what gives it charm.This game is ideal for players who want casual entertainment with friends or solo chaos that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It suits both quick play sessions and long party nights, offering endless ways to mess around and enjoy the absurd side of gaming.
