That is an off the wall reference, even for me! Anyway, ComeCloser has a story which I was quite surprised by as most VR sex games are more like VR sex simulators with pretty much zero story. Now, I did have a hard time following the story (more on that in a moment) the gist of what was going on here was that we have this wife or girlfriend and we have been away for quite a while and now we are back and pretty much just want sex. I get the feeling they are going for some kind of relationship drama and that is actually quite a good idea.

Finding The Right Words

The reason that the story of ComeCloser was hard to follow was that this game has the strangest way of giving story dialogue I have ever seen. These hard to read text boxes pop up that tell the story, nothing wrong with that right? In theory, yes, but the execution here is not good. To start with the text boxes do not just appear in front of you, they are in an actual specific spot so you have to turn your head to a certain place to follow the story! Why does the text box or just text lines appear at the bottom of the screen? It is also way harder to read the text and advance it than it should be.

The Best Toys In The Toy Box

As far as playing ComeCloser goes, what we have here is a fairly standard sex simulator kind of experience. You can use various toys on the woman and I felt like I could interact with her very easily. One of the most satisfying things about this game is removing her clothing, the way clothing moves in this is very realistic, and doing stuff like putting your hand up her skirt or even just getting her buck naked felt really hot. There may not be a great deal to the gameplay here, but what is here is fun and pretty well done.

Beauty With A Beat

Visually, ComeCloser has some fantastic looking characters. The game for the most part looks great and I am sure this is why it needs a decent setup in order to run properly. Some ladies can look better than others, but I liked the diversity here, from a business looking woman to a crazy chick with tattoos, they have done a great job in trying to have someone for everyone in this game and that is something I think is really cool. I do wish that there was some actual hardcore sex in the game to make it even more immersive, but the playing with toys and other sexual stuff that is here is still fun.
