Mousetrap: Theft & Bondage

Ratalie found herself working off a debt to the local thieves guild after being framed for robbing their hideout. As a result, she must steal as much as possible to repay that debt, and climb the ranks of the Maus Troupe, a group of mouse thieves, to find the real culprit!

Comments:

Even though the character models are expertly constructed and animated, with some nice textures and materials, they are far too polygonal. That being said, it is really startling to watch a character stoop during a sex scene and be able to identify the three corners surrounding the buttocks; it entirely removes me from the experience. All of the private areas appear to be portions of an action figure due to the genital textures’ extreme lack of detail. Last but not least, the sensation is diminished when the characters engage in sexual activity and the penis appears to be cutting through a wall rather than extending into a stretched-out hole.

Regarding the experience of portraying Ratalie, she hardly reacts. There is no sound, no sporadic episodes of shaky orgasms, and no feeling that she is being penetrated, milked, or fucked. Everything that “happens” to her, after all, appears to be merely decorative and lacks any visual or gameplay response. If she is not panting, she might as well not be gagged, and if she does not seem to like having a vibrating egg inside of her, she might as well not have it. Aside from those two things, it would be nice to see more bug fixes and more lucid level design. Since Truffle’s “scent” was dispersed throughout the area, I was unable to locate her at first and had to look upstairs and far from her location.

I eventually realized that these “scent clouds” were pointing in the direction of her location, but I believe it would be wonderful to have a way to keep the player from becoming too lost. It would be fantastic to be able to cycle between and permanently store clothing things that you have picked up; at the moment, it feels like a bug that you are unable to do this. Additionally, I would have loved to see more Window Mode options and a more zoomed-out camera option (I know Unity has two others that would have been fantastic to see). “This is a great demo, you will enjoy playing it, and I look forward to how the project progresses” is the main meaning behind the five stars, which is a difficult rating to assign to such an early project.
