There is a lot of repetition in the tutorial time. You are stuck with “eat, stare at wall, stalk ouji-san” until that time, however Chika does do other things AFTER that (such as wash, nap, and use the restroom). It is really not going to work if all you want to do is play to jerk it. Even though the game is practically impossible to play one-handed, which is usually a deal breaker for me, I still think it is a really cute game. So that is the only reason I am playing. Another peculiarity is the clothing system. As far as I am aware, you can not really dress Chika as you like. She chooses her own attire for every time period. You can buy her clothing and give them to her, but she never wore them when I was playing. She did not wear it, although I did once glimpse something in the washing machine.

As observed in the more subtle gameplay moments, Chika exhibits passive resistance—dodging, shifting, or shielding sensitive areas.

Overall, the game is somewhat slow, yet I never feel like I am wasting my time. I find value in simply touching Chika more, even after I have finished feeding her, doing the laundry, and reaching my touch XP quota. Body part sensitivity levels as you touch them. The sensitivity will only increase with time as long as you avoid overtouching any one area. I suppose that this “number going up” is sufficient to make me happy. Furthermore, it is funny enough to watch Chika writhe around while attempting and failing to block me. I had a lot of fun playing. Is it superior to the game I played before? No. Is the touch simulation diminished by the inclusion of co-habitation mechanics? I do not believe so. Should I suggest it? Definitely, but only to those who are extremely patient. Until I get sick of the game’s loop and achieve all of my goals, I am looking forward to playing more.

The semi-autonomous dress system allows Chika to choose her own outfits, defying player expectations and reinforcing her AI-driven agency.

That went to the extreme in this game. It is not a VR game, but it tries to act like one. It is not enough that you have to pixelhunt for a particular part; you also constantly have to battle with the camera because it is fucking terrible. Why the fuck of god is there no favorite list for bodyparts? The second reason is terrible because if you have fundamental mechanics that do not operate or act as they should, then the game has two possible outcomes: either the creator changes them, or they just say “fuck you all” and take no action. The second is the situation with the previous game, which remains unaltered for modern times. Boumen just adds DLC that adds some clothing, nothing else. We can conclude that there is too much room for change, but it is likely that the game will remain unusable (I hope I am wrong).
