Characters:

Valerie: Valerie, Student Council President in college as well as your old highschool, still considers you her protege even after you gave it all up. She seems to have a great deal of faith in you, though you can never tell whether she’s joking or flirting.

Haley: Blue hair that shows an adorable defiance. That’s Haley, a lovely bartender who has dreams way bigger than being behind a counter for the rest of her life. She has a good ear for others' problems but no taste for sharing her own.

Maggie: Maggie prefers dealing with animals to people, but over time, she has come to trust you. Now, this pretty redhead will need to deal with a past that has left her nervous and silent.

Dante: Dante is the ultimate paradoxical Bohemian. A weird mix of party freak and dependable role model, he’s a hard man to describe, and you don’t really know him unless you meet him. He dispenses cocktails and wisdom with equal flare, and has his ear to the ground in Shale Hill’s party scene.

Toasterman: Homeless man or superhero? The answer depends on whether you ask him or anyone else. One thing is for sure, he does have detective instincts that you don’t have. It’s wise to listen to what he has to say.

One of the things that no one can fault about Shale Hill Secrets is that it looks incredible. The production values here are sky high, some of the best that I have seen in a lewd game. There is a great variety to the character models, not just in regards to the lewd and main characters, but even the supporting cast has had a lot of time and effort put into them. There are also some fantastic animated lewd scenes in the game too and thanks to the high quality renders, these really are a joy to see.

I was very impressed with Shale Hill Secrets. It is one of the best looking and best made lewd games that I have played in a while and I truly do applaud the amount of time and effort that went into this game. I think that with just a little refinement in regards to the story and the sandbox style elements, the game would probably have jumped up by half a point.

The gameplay of Shale Hill Secrets is something that I think could be better if it were streamlined a bit. It is like a typical lewd visual novel in many ways where you have to read the story and make choices in regards to what you say and also what you do. There are also sandbox elements too which is what I feel the game could do without. From doing stuff like having to go to bed and being at certain places at certain times feels like it is tacked on and can affect the flow of things. I am not saying it is bad or anything like that, but streamlining it a tad would have made for an even better experience.

Shale Hill Secrets is a project for gamers who have reached the age of eighteen. Entertainment will appeal to fans of the genre and the level of quality of the implementation of renders and the development of the plot component. The main character is an ordinary guy who works in technical support of a large university. One day he gets access and the ability to view confidential data of students. This allows him to collect important information, use it to his advantage, and so on. This opens up very impressive opportunities for him. What he will choose and how he will act - this depends on the players themselves.
