The game is good and the scenes are all good, I give it 9/10 because I don't like NTR but the game caught my attention a lot. If you could have someone choose the elections to avoid the NTR, the game would be super better for me since I don't like the NTR... A Promise Best Left Unkept is a game that has many different endings for you to get to so your choices do have a lot of weight behind them. I think that as all of our characters are well written, you connect with them all in one way or another, leading to you to want to try and see everything from every point of view. The game has this really handy system (what they call it escapes me as I write this) where rather than forcing you to replay the game 8 plus times to see all the endings, it lets you quickly get to the endings so you can see all the outcomes. However, I got so into the characters that I was more than happy to replay this a few times.

If you get A Promise Best Left Unkept on Steam, this is a game that is like 20 bucks when it is not on sale and I have to say that I think the game is well worth the full RRP. This is high end lewd visual novel storytelling at its best and I could not have been any more entertained by this game. The way it looks, the amazing animations, and all of the sex are great. However, it was the characters and the connections between them that kept me wanting to play through this game.
