It's not a deep strategy game, and I wouldn't even really describe it as a GOOD strategy game. But I did find it addictive for a while and sank a fair few hours into it. It's free, and both ads and microtransactions are few and unobtrusive, so if you like strategy games at all, I strongly recommend you download this one, give it a try, and decide for yourself whether it's for you. ^_^

one of the best games ever!! it just needs internet connection to start the game but mid-game, you can turn it off to fully enjoy it offline. at first, it may be overwhelming but it can be very fun to customize houses and witness how each tenants live their lives — a beautiful depiction of reality. earning coins and research points can be a bit difficult at first but as long as you get the hang of it (in my case, around year 12 ), the game is very relaxing!

I have kept coming back to this game over the past 5 years, I go through a strange period where I am addicted, similar to the Sims. The graphics are retro and are fun, as are the animations of the characters which I can watch for hours on end. I may end up purchasing some of the other games but you just can't top this, pets, children, careers, marriage.

This is a pretty awesome game. I like the pause feature on it when you exit the game. It still goes fast enough that it doesn't become boring but I can always exit out and come back to the exact same spot later. Personally, I like that. The controls where wonky at first but I figured out an easy way to move things around and click on the people. Haven't had it crash or bug out yet, so I'm really grateful for the that!
