Introduction

House Flipper: Home Design is a fun simulation game where you own your own renovation company and act as a professional designer, participating in house design and layout. You'll watch old houses renovate and sell for a hefty profit, continuously expanding your company. Players will face a variety of orders from diverse clients, remodeling houses according to their needs, freely choosing from hundreds of exquisite decorations and furniture to create your own unique designs. As the game progresses, your designer level will continuously increase, allowing you to upgrade your tools and complete home design tasks faster.

Gameplay:

House Flipper: Home Design is a simulation game played in the first-person perspective. Gameplay involves fixing up properties in order to create a profit. Tasks that can be performed include painting, laying down tiles, cleaning, installations, and demolition. Some of these tasks are unlocked as the game progresses, and tools can be upgraded to perform them faster. The game includes a catalog that lets players browse through different options of furniture, wallpaper, doors, and windows.

There are several modes of play in House Flipper: Home Design; first, players need to complete quests (which can be accessed through email) for money. Quests can involve cleaning, painting walls, placing furniture and remodelling homes. Once quests are completed, the player is rewarded with money depending on the size of the job and how well it is completed. Elsewhere, players can buy and resell houses according to buyers’ needs. Each house has a selection of potential buyers with different needs such as cleanliness or a family room. These buyers compete for the house in an auction, bidding depending on how much it suits their needs. As well as this, player can buy and customize houses for themselves.

Features:

Clean, repair, and refresh for clients: You begin with client requests that outline specific goals. Clean dirt, remove trash, repair broken fixtures, and paint walls to match their brief. These jobs teach the basics and provide steady income early on. As tasks grow, your workflow becomes more efficient and satisfying.

Buy, renovate, and sell houses: Beyond client orders, you can purchase run-down properties, improve them, and sell for profit. First, evaluate costs and pick projects that fit your budget. Then renovate in a targeted way to boost value before listing the property. Over time, smart flips help grow your in-game business.

Realistic 3D visuals with touch-friendly controls: House Flipper: Home Design uses detailed 3D environments so you can see progress as rooms change. Movement, cleaning, and placing items are adapted for taps and swipes, which makes tasks feel straightforward on a phone. This design supports short play bursts when you have a few minutes and longer sessions when you want to finish a full renovation.

Large catalog of furniture and decor: The game includes hundreds of furnishings and decor pieces with multiple color and style variants. As you progress, more items unlock, which opens up new layout ideas for kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas. Because of this variety, rooms can be matched to client tastes or shaped to your own preferred style when flipping.

Tool upgrades and a customizable office: Completing tasks earns experience that unlocks better tools. Upgrades speed up painting, cleaning, and installation, which reduces the time spent on routine steps. You can also personalize your office space, creating a base that reflects your approach as your business develops.

Strategies:

Prepare a palette or a few beforehand and orient yourself on it.

Make rooms smaller. We are so used to gaming scale (1.33x) that we tend to forget what a realistic space looks like from a first person video game. Measure out real rooms and recreate them to get a better feeling of scale.

You can use the customizable piece (with adjustable size) to create a second ceiling below roofs so you can have different materials for different rooms.

Instead of skirting boards a row of the floor tiling works great as well.

Skirting boards can be used anywhere. For example as a small border between two wall textures (half way wood paneling looks great with a skirting board at the edge).

Pick lamps not by lamp model but the light they produce.

Before starting, check where the sun shines and try to work with it as much as possible (morning sun hitting bedrooms/kitchen, evening sun hitting living room for example).

Elevate the whole terrain a little so the house doesn’t sit flat on street level.

For apartments build the walls incredibly tall and then just place floors inbetween, much faster than building them on top of each other.

When placing outside plants, move every plant manually and paint a little dirt into the shade. Immediately feels photorealistic if done right.

Also lighting is IMPORTANT!!!! In HF1 1 I tend to choose more for lighting quality (brightness, warm/cool) than the actual implement. Like, I really like the branch light, but the lighting quality is blueish so I never use it :(

You can find pictures of full bulletin boards online and add them into the game--they look very convincing! I think gallery photos can be used in a lot of creative ways.

Think of furniture in 3 dimensions. Sometimes I have placed cabinets/shelving backwards for built-ins, for example.

Player Comments:

wonderful game, no ads, no spending if you don't want to. I've looked for a home design game for YEARS and this is the first one that hasn't disappointed me - though its only been a week of playing it. It did take me a day to get comfortable with the controls (similar to most 1st person phone game controls). So fun, and being able to buy and sell properties is really cool. I haven't tried to play offline yet, but I really hope it works - would be a great game on road trips etc.

Hey! I've been playing this game for quite some time, sometimes deleting and reinstalling it because I miss it and it's simplicity. It doesn't need Internet to operate, is f2p friendly, and relaxing! One thing I would implement though, is a search bar or a sorting mechanic in the "Real estate agency" menu. In my opinion, it would be so much easier to search for apartments or houses within my budget and preferences instead of scrolling through everything. Nevertheless, the game is amazing!

Its awesome I'm playing this again as of 7/18/26. It improved so much! I like how there is so many designs, fun and challenging jobs, and such cute garden ornaments are now added. I get have fun in how I want to decorate the room too. One problem is that as I level up, the amount of flipcoins I will spend on one job gets too much, and it is hard to keep up with the demand as a f2p player. but overall, great game!

DON'T BASE AN OPINION ON THE F2P REVIEWS. Tried to research a little and am fairly certain these are the same dev from the steam game but could be wrong. Regardless, think its a very solid game if you enjoy the niche. If you buy the starter/advanced packs(which are pretty fair), you get plenty of flip-coins as you play. If you expect games to be developed for you for no fee at all, then you can at least expect ads and inconveniences because games dont just fall off of trees. Recommend.

Conclusion:

House Flipper: Home Design has engaging gameplay; you must purchase neglected, damaged, and rotting buildings. The following stage is to start remodeling and redecorating your home, and you intend to boost the selling price once the modifications are completed and pocket the extra cash. You can complete activities such as painting the walls and floor, installing lighting and furnishings, cleaning up afterward, and repurposing existing space in previously damaged structures to create opulent, cutting-edge, and visually beautiful apartments.
