Basically, this game is undeniably great. My favorite part about it is probably thesoundtrack! l mean, props to DVloper! The menu music is on point, the music that playsas you navigate the dark hallways of the cellar still gives me the chills! Not to mention thechase music! Yes, that track might come off to some people (not really me) as repetitive,.bland, and boring, but it's still intense! What else, the graphics are good, the soundeffects are good, and the character design, dude? l don't know what it is, but Slendrina'smom looks like she wants to sell you your own organs back to you! l don't know aboutanyone else, but l wouldn't want to buy back my own spleen after it had been ripped outjust moments earlier! Nina looks like he/she (idk l've lost track. l haven't played a singlegame of Slendrina Asylum in basically forever) could crawl right up your legs, into yourbrain and into your worst nightmares (l actually did have a nightmare about Nina chasingme through the cellar at some point)! Some of you reading this might be curious as towhy I'm not giving this game five stars instead of four, so l'l tell you why! l understandthat sometimes you can't seem to beat the game and the cellar map is really elaborate.but that's kinda nitpicking if you ask me! I always play these games on HARD difficulty & would always still easily beat them or inthe exception of 2D l just lost interest. This one is actually a challenge & is keeping meintrigued. The choice of running, hiding in a room, or turned off the flashlight makes thegame feel less unfair & more that l died because of my own choice. The old lady & themonster baby are scary & keep me on my heels plus the actual Slenderina had a wholeother mechanic to survive her. l think they combined the parts that worked from othergames into this game.
