For the past few days, we've been addressing at top speed issues caused by the gifting feature not removing Refine from equipment.

We are fully aware of how this incident has led to dissatisfaction, doubt, concerns for gaming environment, and worries about follow-up actions among Adventurers.

Having examined and processed all the data, we are now announcing the punishment to be imposed to restore fairness to trades performed at Midgards:

I. Rules of Punishment

We will remove from all accounts unduly gained Refine:

Unused Refine will be directly removed.

Refine already consumed (including, but not limited to scenarios where the original equipment has been used to refine other equipment, or has already been listed on the Exchange for sale.) will be deducted in Zeny of equal value at a rate based on system records.

Besides Refine/Zeny deduction, graded account bans will be imposed on severe violators according to violation severity:

Permanent ban + removal of undue gains: Imposed on accounts that have made huge profits through intentional and repeated exploits of the bug.

14 days of suspension + removal of undue gains: Imposed on severe violators that have intentionally exploited the bug.

II. Implementation of Punishment

[252] violating accounts are involved, among which:

[5] accounts have been permanently banned;

[42] accounts have received 14 days of suspension;

Refine/Zeny will be deducted from [205] accounts.

Implementation progress:

All unused undue Refine has been removed.

All bans and suspensions have been applied.

All used Refine is estimated to be deducted in Zeny before Dec 4.

III. Compensation

The Exchange's gifting feature is estimated to be restored after the maintenance on Dec 4. Thank you in advance for your patience. After restoration, all Adventurers will receive [Growth Gift Box I] x5, [Gold Medal] x3 and [Valkyrie's Gift] x2 as compensation.

Meanwhile, we promise to keep refining our monitoring system to promote fair trading for all Adventurers.

Honestly ignore the p2w comments. You can easily gain decent gear by playing thegame. Almost each week they give you boxes to select your gear that you can use toultimately decide your build. Just join an active guild and farm and do events togetherand you'll be fine. You can spend as little time as you want doing instances - finish onceand you get raid feature to complete it without doing it over and over. Game is fun betterwith friends. You can absolutely whale in this game. However a f2p player can still kill awhale u lock other games.

I am putting a 5 stars so far here while l get into the weeds of the game. l have playedevery flavor of Ragnarok they have put out and Played IRO as a kid growing up. lunderstand everyone has to make money so some purchase mechanic needs to be inhere. But the fact now nothing is limited to "you have to spend money to get X".Everything is on the table and if you want something grind to get it. Yes there will bewhales on all games you play. Does not matte what it is. But so far this is their bestrelease yet. Time will tell and l will update accordingly.
