EDIT: 1 -> 5 stars. they patched it and the performance issues below are gone. game runs well now and is a blast to play. will be buying the full version soon. would be really fun if it worked. I'm on a Pixel 9, I get to the dreadnaught on Haz 1 and the game starts flickering and freezing. then stops responding. my run is lost and I have to try again. I cannot complete the first dive because of this.

the amazing DRGS has come to mobile!!! this is a great port with a variety of options (like controller, landscape and portrait mode). it does run a bit hot on my phone but my s25 ultra is a little old at this point. I didn't see any way to suspend a run and that is a must for mobile games (especially ones with relatively long runs) so I would like to see that added in the future. I also love how they've implemented this as a "free to play game" with the option to unlock the rest of the content.

it's A pretty fun game. After playing for several hours, I can say that the game is infinitely replayable, even for the free version. The first two levels are fine, and there's no limit to how much you can play them. The only issue I have is the insane battery drain. For a Samsung S24 FE, this game absolutely chugs power like a dwarf chugging ale after a deep dive. It's crazy how fast my battery drains while playing this.
