But being skillful is one thing, not understanding each other is another. That’s why you’ll laugh out loud when your teammate accidentally “betrays” you with a fatal kick… to the face.

Slaps And Beans has mini-games: It would be wrong to say that Slaps And Beans is all about fighting. There are many mysteries to discover in this game, and if you dig a little deeper, you will discover some unique and funny mini-games that will make you wonder whether to continue playing or just sit back and laugh. There is a scene where you have to compete in eating hot dogs. Not to survive, but to beat the bad guys in the “craziest competition on earth”. Then there is a scene where you have to control Bud to do the cha-cha-cha (it may look a bit crude, but it is guaranteed to be hilarious).

A little puzzle: Unlike HOBO, a pure fighting game, Slaps And Beans will require you to add a little more “brain” to play. The game also has quite interesting puzzles that will take you a few minutes to figure out how to overcome. Those are the times when you have to coordinate both characters, one person holds the lever, the other person climbs up high. It sounds simple, but if you don’t calculate the time correctly, the result is that both of you will fall into the hole like idiots.Overall, the puzzle isn’t too difficult, but it will test your coordination with your teammates. Be prepared for some “comedy” when you or your teammates mess up the last move and have to start over!

Only played for about 30 minutes so far, because this game I want, no I NEED to play in local co-op with my brother. Bud & Terrence were a huge part of our childhood, and this game so far pulls all the right strings. The graphics are an amazing tribute to the 90s arcade beat'em ups like Double Dragon, yet lovingly feel like out of the classic Spencer & Hill movies. The sound effects of the slaps are taken right out of the movies - and of course Bud's "Whack-a-mole" isn't missing either! And the original soundtrack just makes the game so much more amazing!

The gameplay is a mix between retro beat'em up and minigames. Unfortunately the gameplay itself is nothing special, at times getting repetitive although never what you could call bad. Now I assume you are interested in the title because you know the protagonists and have watched the mayhem. If so you will find a gem of a retro game that will have you smiling and replaying the shows in your head.

On the chance you don't know who Bud Spencer and Terence Hill are, you owe yourself a favour to watch at least one of their movies before buying this. An amusing and outstanding homage to Bud and Terence wrapped up in an average retro-like shell.

I'd never heard of this comedy duo before now -- the classic MS-DOS 256 color visuals drew me in as well as being a side scrolling brawler, one of my favorite genres. While the game doesn't really satisfy as a brawler (the fighting animations and hit detection are sloppy at best) everything else just sells this thing -- the charm, the whimsy, the goofiness, the lovely art, the amazing music, and even a story mode. As long as you aren't looking for a razor-sharp beat-em-up experience and don't mind some jank this is a delightful game experience.

It's a beat 'em up game with a western theme. l only played it a bit so far, yet l enjoy thesilly story and the music. Graphics are nostalgic pixels. There are two characters tochoose from though l wish there was a female character option as well.lf only there was away to customize the button placement/ size because it's uncomfortable. And there areblack bars on the edges of the screen. Overall pretty good game with some issues thatcould be fixed to make it even better.
