You have to use the cursor or the pointer to find interesting people, click their photos, and the popup will appear with the message. The message will show you the activity the in-frame character was doing and the reason behind it. This will cause a chain reaction, which in turn will guide the consequences.

Multiple Characters: Everything in this game revolves around the characters. There are numerous characters in this game. None of them has names, but they have special shapes. The circle head and the square head characters lead the line. The best thing about these characters is that they have a lot of unique personalities, which makes this game unique and stand out from the crowd.

Capturing the News: In this game, the player has the camera in their hand and has to capture the news. You are just watching the characters going around and have to spot the unique activities these characters are doing. Once you capture them, you will get the news, and it will make an impact on the other characters, which will drive the overall gameplay.

Somewhat half surprised that I didn’t get around to writing a review for this game at all, and it's basically one of my short reviews. But hey, better late than never!<3.Whilst this is a Fan-Made Port of the actual game, which comes from their official website, it still runs the exact same as the original game. But however, I kept replaying and replaying continuously, because I loved seeing the actual concept of what Social Media is, but in a game that’s about circles and squares, as this explores the harsh reality of what it actually is, and this game best represents it. Because it actually shows how people will immediately just see something from a headline, and then a lot of bad stuff happens from just reading the headline, which unfortunately still happens to this very day, because people don’t stop to read the full article. And there are two characters (me and who???) within the game itself, that is basically the representation of trying to keep everything at peace, all the while a small debate is happening. And then it sparks up much more as more people are reading into it, and then a whole disagreement happens, both sides defending each other, and then it turns violent, with death threats being sent to one another. Which unfortunately, is basically the harsh reality of social media, and a lot of people can’t help but unintentionally get themselves involved within the spectacle; as I’m sure majority of the people who have played this game, or reading these reviews have been involved in.I’d like to see a longer version of this, in this exact style to be honest! Regardless, I still love this game a lot!

A short flash game port made to steam, originally based on NEWGROUNDS, surrounding the cyclical nature of subtle popularity contests that people have surrounding the general media outlets opinions, and people forming their likes and dislikes surrounding that said particular media with only a single look and no additional information, since most people nowadays do not look through more then the headline of a new news article that the everyday algorithm has pushed you to look at or watch.The game shows that to deliver a basic, yet often more forgotten message of the everyday life that we all experience and often ignore due to the virtue of our psychology believing that we are always right and that we do not require any additional information to understand since we are always right and the loudest voice that you hear is not the most stupid, or even the most subtle one is not misleading, does not require a strong 30 hour gameplay loop with engaging visuals and subtle details of decay and deconstruction of the selfs image, and does not need great story loop with incredibly complicated and deeply intricate characters that have confusing and often contradictory writing that your favorite youtuber can complain about because they didn't like the one inconsistence but forgot around the other 40% of it.Sometimes, a message is a message. And sometimes you have to make sure that people are watching closely. Even if it is basic, and sometimes a sentence not being heard due to it being controversial but true is, sad and heartbreaking.But the world today weaves around complicated measures that most of us are not willing to adapt to. Final words:

Despite its rather deep meaning, We Become What We Behold is not a complex game. The mechanics are simple and only require one button—left mouse click—for controls. The graphics are also cute, although the message is a little disturbing. The short gameplay and the lack of player freedom are a little disappointing, however. You can invest your time playing it since it's pretty short.
