VelociDrone

VelociDrone is a drone racing simulation game where players can freely choose their favorite drone type and engage in thrilling races against players worldwide. Showcase your skills to outmaneuver all opponents, win races, and compete against players on the leaderboard. Furthermore, players can watch other players' racing videos to gain experience and inspiration, improving their own control. The game also supports remote control of drones from different brands, making the gaming experience even easier.

Options of VelociDrone:

Music Volume: Sets the volume for all in game music, including menu music and any in game musical effects.

SFX Volume: Sets the volume for UI interaction and any other in game effects like gate pass noises, wind and bird song effects.

Quad Motor Volume: Sets the volume for your motors on the quad you are flying.

Resolution: This configures the DPI resolution (dots per inch) for your screen. This setting when very low can make text blurry on a very high resolution display. You should set this to make the UI comfortable to read. If you have a very modern high end device you can set it to its highest setting. Bear in mind that the higher you set the DPI the more impact it will have on the simulator frame rates.  

Quality: This setting controls the amount of processing we do for making things look pretty. At its lowest setting things like shadows, bloom and post processing effects will be switched off. At higher settings then shadows, bloom and colour post processing will be turned on. This setting can also significantly affect performance, especially turning on shadows at the higher levels. You should set your resolution first and then the quality taking careful note of how this affects FPS in game.

Target FPS: This is the FPS the simulator will run at. You should set this to the hz rate of your screen. There is no value in setting this to 120 if you have a 60hz screen. However, if you have a 120hz screen but it cannot deliver 120 fps in game then there is no issue with setting a lower target frame rate than the screen hz rate. Setting target FPS below the screen hz rate can also reduce overheating in phones. Bear in mind that the simulation feels much better to fly at 120fps on a 120hz screen than 60 fps on a 60hz screen.

Gate Indicator Colour: This sets the colour for gate indicators when racing,

Auto Upload Times: This will automatically upload your time at the end of a race instead of having to manually press the submit button for times.

ELRS Enabled: This turns on ELRS wifi support for controller connection. You should leave this off if you are connecting via an OTG cable or bluetooth (including ELRS BE).

Flight Aerodynamics: VelociDrone comes with our own proprietary physics and aerodynamics system. Using real aerodynamics calculations for prop thrusts, naca curves for prop profiles.Our simulation doesn't just stop there - we simulate the whole quad as per real life from end to end, from battery with voltage and current, to ESC with real ESC code for throttle ramping, braking and mark space ratios.We also use full flight controller code to control the power to the motors and the motors are fully simulated with current, voltage and kv ratings as well as coil resistance and torque simulation.We also run a full aerodynamic drag simulation for the frame. VelociDrone is known for it's class leading physics and aerodynamics - it is because we take simulation so seriously that it flies as well as it does.This allows you to convert simulator learned skills to real life skills as quickly as possible. It is no surprise that the majority of the fastest pilots in the world all practice regularly in VelociDrone.

Track Editor: Velocidrone has the most comprehensive track editor of any simulator available, with gates for most major racing leagues in standard sizes.The track editor has over two thousand unique objects, including gates, barriers, trees and other urban objects for not only laying out gates but also building entire environments to fly through.

Large Selection of Quads: The basic license of VelociDrone comes with five inch racing quads and three inch toothpick quads.In total there are more than thirty quads of various designs for racing included in the basic license.VelociDrone also has premium content packs for Micro, Mega and Freestyle.These packs add into VelociDrone huge mega class quads, beast class quads, whoops and a selection of freestyle five inch quads, bringing the total quad count to over seventy quads.Plus we are always looking to add in coming new classes of quads like Street League, which was made available in the last update.

This sim is incredible. I100% recommend it and it pairs perfectly with my radiomasterpocket. The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because I was experiencing some issueswith getting my controller to connect and the races to load. After deleting the app andreinstalling it, everything seems to work fine. Thank you so much for this INCREDIBLEapp. Much better than other iOS sims.

I am very happy to be able to use the Black Sheep simulator on mobile topractice FPV. This is currently the only app that can use the elrs wifi toconnect the remote control, but there is no Chinese language in theinterface, which makes some functions incomprehensible to me. I hope thedeveloper can add localized languages and services in the future.

Not sure why everyone else on the ratings was giving it no less then 5 stars.It's the only simulator that you can use your mobile device that has truephysics. In my opinion, I wish I would have bought the ELRS 2.4ghz soonerjust to use this app.
