Always Spend Your Stamina: There is no reason whatsoever to hoard Stamina in Hokai Impact 3rd. This resource is your main limitation in the game because it determines how many missions you can do and how far you can upgrade your core Valkyries without investing real money. Plus, you’ll notice during the tutorial that you are sometimes awarded Stamina Potions. You can keep these in your inventory for as long as you want and only pop them when you need them. It therefore makes no sense to sacrifice your Stamina regen in order to stack more than the maximum limit.Your Stamina reserves will grow (very slowly) as you gain more Captain levels. To begin with, you’ll enjoy tons of it as you make your way through easy levels, but this won’t always be the case. If you have enough time to check on the game, make sure that your Stamina reserves are never full. Spend it to farm your Valkyries, obtain gear and materials, or even in the Open World. The important thing is to keep your Stamina below cap at all times. How you choose to spend it is entirely up to you.

I decided to play this because I'm interested in playing Genshin Impact and wanted to play the game that Mihoyo made before it. I'm really only interested in the story, I have no interest in gacha mechanics generally. The story of part 1 is actually pretty good and I had a lot of fun, but as things go on stuff gets wordier and wordier, and the story in part 2 is really not as good, a least so far. The gameplay is fun enough, but I've really only done the story levels, so there might be a lot that I'm missing. The graphics are basically what you'd expect from a souped-up smartphone game from 2016. Music is unremarkable apart from some of the cooler pre-render cutscenes, which can actually be pretty great.

I've never felt the urge to review a game before, but this one has frankly AMAZED me. Ididn't know that these kinds of things were possible in a mobile game, but... yeah. Thegraphics are awesome, the voice acting (although it is often in a language other thanEnglish, it is excellently subtitled) performances are great, there's so much to do here.An excellent single-player story. Co-op play. Open-world exploration. Anime-style FMVcutscenes. Engaging story with episodes still coming out and many more on the horizon.I can understand why some might spend a lot of money on this game to get things, but ldon't think it's necessary to do so in order to enjoy it. I'm going to spend money on thisgame, although I haven't yet and I've been playing for over two months. I'm not going tospend that money because I need to buy something to "win" or have fun, but because Ijust got an "achievement" that told me I'd spent over 500 hours "in adventures" and Iknow I've been doing stuff in the game that didn't contribute to that counter. Anythingthat can give me over 500 hours of enjoyment is well worth my money. It's well worth aLOT of my money, and I'm really just amazed that they've been able to set it up so that Icould reach this conclusion on my own, and I want to reward them for that.This is a reallygood game. Honkai Impact 3rd is a masterpiece that has already set the bar for so many other gamesemerging in the genre. The characters of this game are interesting, compelling, relatable,and powerful. With a huge variety when it comes to aesthetics and play style, theavailable valkyries (playable characters) can appeal to a lot of players. The story of thisgame is phenomenal. Whether you want to read it or not, miHoYo publishes manga aboutthe world of Honkai 3rd, mainly about the story that occurs outside of gameplay. The lorewithin this story cannot be summarized briefly but I enjoy every piece of it. I highlyrecommend this game to anyone who enjoys fast-paced, flashy combat with deepcustomization mechanics. There is "Scoring" content, meaning that your score is placedup against the scores of other players, but there is no direct player-versus-playercontent so Pay-To-Win only really applies to the one doing the spending. The prices forcurrency are regular for a gacha game (i think) but I also think that there are plenty ofways to save up premium currency to pull for characters and their weapons withoutspending anything. The gameplay can struggle on a weak internet connection and thesize of the game files is a sort of drawback, but all of this is dwarfed in the face of theexperience that this game provides.
