Story of Antonym Obscure:

Nishikino Haruto is down in the dumps. He's already twenty-six, but he doesn't have a lot to show for it other than a room in a small, rundown apartment complex, a cruddy job with obnoxious coworkers, and a mountain of regrets.

When Haruto was younger, he was part of a band at school, The Unappreciated Egoists. He had vague dreams of making it big, and standing onstage with his fellow bandmembers: the aloof Ryo, the laidback Taiki, the womanising Kei, and the self-conscious prodigy, Akira...

But Haruto's dreams didn't pan out, and the band eventually dissolved. The Unappreciated Egoists went their own ways, and that was the end of that — until Akira puts together a band of his own years later, which somehow rockets all the way to superstardom.

Now, Haruto can't escape from Akira's band Obscure, its mega hit Eternal Autumn, or the complicated feelings he has for Akira.

Haruto resents Akira for his success, but he finds himself drawn to his former friend regardless.

I really liked Akira and how the story unfolded. The final CG is so cute! But I didn't quite understand why Akira likes Haruto so much. He's so rude.

So far I liked this VN the best. I felt very emotionally connected to the characters and read the whole story in one go.  It was just the right mix of fiction and realism. (spoilers ahead) I liked the foreshadowing of Akira being from a cold town and then ending up in the snow.  I also enjoyed that Akira was shy and it was bcs he wanted to be dominated. The end was hot!

SERIOUSLY. this is one of the cutest yet sappiest stories I have ever read asdskadhskjasadjdsdas. i legitimately got off my seat and started jumping around and whisper-screaming towards the end of the story and smiled so hard my mouth started hurting...but anyways thanks to everyone who helped make this masterpiece, and ily haruto and akira.
