Explore the game. There are many *Secret areas* in the game. Some of them are very well hidden, but often contain rewards which will improve your survivability in direct or indirect way. Best weapons and Armors can be found in secret areas.

Check the stats of weapons and armor. Some weapons have powerful bonuses such as recovery on hit, 150% extra damage on last bullet and more. Armor items can have % damage reduction, % armor increase and many other useful abilities.

Use bombs and grenades to clear some of the toughest enemies, or multiple enemies where circumstances permit it. If you encounter enemy kamikaze, the best approach you can take is to defeat it from a safe distance.

Use environment as means and ways to beat enemies. You can lure enemies into pits, or set TNT on fire when there is a group of enemies surrounding it. You can destroy main pillars of objects so that the rest of construction (including wooden boxes, barrels) collapses onto enemies. Or, in other words use the environment as an advantage whenever it is possible.

Always purchase ammunition from vendor machines and items with "blue" or "purple" color shade background. It is a very common way to mark, legendary or epic items in all games. It is a visual clue identity.

Follow the story. Dialogue lines will reveal and give you insight of incoming danger or give you the clear indication that something "big" is coming.

This is one of those classic flash games I keep thinking about the most. I rememberspending a good hour or so at a time grinding away at this game during middle school,and since the death of flash, I've been unconsciously hoping to see it again someday. It'sa very welcome surprise to see it again in all its glory. Just good old fashioned side-scrolling, dungeon running, zombie killing fun, and no ads to be seen :)I do have a smallsuggestion though, in terms of customization? It'd be cool to see if we could change thecolors of the armor and/or helmet models. That and controller mapping support. Otherthan that, thank you guys so so much for bringing back this classic! It's a nice breath offresh air from all the trash that's blanketed the mobile gaming market lately. Keep it up!

I love this game, played it for ages on flash. Now tell me why, unlike virtually every gamewith ads, this one completely forces you to watch them regardless of your willingness topay for their removal!? This would be a 5-10$ game, and well worth it, especially if thedevs keep adding levels but I don't see any option to remove them whatsoever! Thegame is genuinely fun but it forces an ad after every death or level reset, meaning if youare trying to get through a hard part "complete this level in x seconds" and die/screw up,it's genuinely faster to JUST EXIT THE APP AND COME BACK!!! Completely ruining thegameplay loop! Absolutely infuriating. I despise these mobile "game" ads with every fiberof my being.

Long ago, I remember killing time in class one day looking for a game to play & Istumbled upon this game called Zombotron. I became hooked with the art style/gameimmediately and played all the other web games by this developer. Eventually though,this became just a fond memory of something I could never replay since websitesremoved the ability to play flash games years ago. As fate would have it, I learned the devplans to remake the game for phones at some point & so I follow him on twitter forupdates as to when it will arrive. I can finally say this is a perfect translation & port of thisgame many have not played, I highly recommend this to anyone reading this review!!
