Story of Homecoming ~Morenatsu Revisited~:

In Homecoming, you take on the role of a young Japanese snow fox (or human, if you're so inclined) named Hiroyuki Nishimura. After moving away from your hometown Minasato to Osaka five years ago, you receive an unexpected letter from an old friend inviting you back for one last summer vacation before completing your senior year of high school. What complicates things is how you've neglected to contact any of your friends over the years. Although nervous, you accept the invitation.

What awaits you back in Minasato? Will you be welcomed with open arms, or has it been so long that everyone has forgotten about you? Will this be yet another wasted summer, or will you finally have the chance to experience what makes life worth living?

I was originally part of the English translation for the original project, mostly to correctgrammar mistakes, or note any missed Japanese text, and it saddened me immensely tosee the project originally die. I spent many years quietly lamenting the loss of theproject. I heard others had tried to pick it up only to put it down for one reason oranother. The most recent attempt had me learning that Hiroyuki had been changed to afox with all references to humans no longer existing due to the writers decision and bias,which I did not approve of.Since then, I had put the project out of my mind until recently,when my family was to go on a week long vacation. I was searching through apps andthe like to prepare, and came across the VN, apparently now released for iOS. I decidedto try it, on the basis on the glowing reviews, and the fact that Hiro seemed to have anoption to have his species restored. The layout of the project was also radicallychanged. Normally you had to pick who you hung out with on the day, which sped thegame along, now you played out almost ALL the events present. This significantlylengthened the game but also allowed you to experience a large amount of missedcontent.l finished the Shin route on my first attempt and got the best ending. I have tosay this game hit all the right marks, including the updated art, and even some eventsthat I know didn't exist in the original project, which helps to develop the characters. I'mvery impressed with this version of the game and hope to see it as it continues todevelop.

Seriously, this game is the sole reason I got into visual novels in the first place, andseeing how far it's gone makes me super happy. Please, do not abandon this gamebefore you complete it. If I remember correctly, you said you would add the torahikoroute last (not sure about that) and if this game gets cancelled before my boy can finallybe fully implemented I'll legit cry like I did with tatsuki's bad ending. I have waited yearsto see a torahiko route that doesn't end straight after the confession, and this is basicallymy last hope. Great game, if you are reading this, get it IMMEDIATELY, nothing butpositive thoughts (and a few steamy ones) with this game. I felt nothing but love and joywhen playing, and I can see how much time and effort they put into it, and it'sINCREDIBLE. Sorry for the long review and if I repeated topics, but I'm just too excited.Also, if you are reading this, developer, could you do us a favor and give us an estimateon when the build 12 will come out? Like the month you plan on it being released orsomething? You don't have to but it would be nice.

Back when I first downloaded the remake for my PC, my love for these characters wasinstantly reignited. It'd been a long time since I'd been to Minasato, so being given theopportunity to return was too good to pass up. I was blown away by how both nostalgic itfelt while also offering something new to the table. Though not finished, I had a blastwith the content that was presented. So much so that I've replayed it more than I'd like toadmit.Now imagine my surprise when I learned it had been ported to iPhone? All thebenefits of the remake are here only now it's on the go and it's all executed perfectly. Myonly small gripe being that my time and battery percentage don't disappear when I openthe app, but that's just a nitpick that I'm sure the devs are aware of.Overall, I'm beyondimpressed with this port and look forward to seeing how it'll progress.
