Smooth gameplay, somewhat challenging puzzles. It took me 3 tries to collect all 15 stars. I hadn't realized that you first collect one optional ingredient in the lobby—which provides the clue indicating whose room to visit—and then find the second optional ingredient inside that specific room. Some of the ingredients hidden within the rooms were tricky to locate. I didn't like that if you missed an item, there was no option to go back and retrieve it; hence, I had to play through the game three times to achieve a perfect score. However, I definitely got my money's worth out of the $1.99 price tag. Another great Rusty Lake game. If you haven't tried the rest of the series, you really should!

If you're a fan of the Rusty Lake series, then you already know exactly what to expect! Awesome artwork, fun puzzles, and an even better storyline. The puzzles are reminiscent of those you may have encountered in their other games. It serves as a great way to challenge your critical thinking skills and pass the time. Another intriguing experience! My favorite rooms were Mr. Rabbit's and Ms. Pheasant's, though every room is unique. The puzzle design was generally solid; I had to break out a pen and paper a few times, which I actually consider a plus. Also, after playing through the first couple of nights, it became intuitive to figure out where to find the first ingredient for each recipe. That said, finding the tomatoes—and especially the blackberries—didn't feel very logical; I never would have thought to click on those specific spots that many times on my own. I would also love to see a "reset room" option added.
