Sometimes, additional items are part of the puzzles (such as sheep), which must be moved to let the old man pass. The old man conducts his journey on foot for the most part, but other means of transport are sometimes used. In this case, the player may need to solve some environmental puzzles to allow them to progress. At times, the old man will sit down to rest, and the player must find an item in the scenery that will trigger a memory in him, initiating a flashback and allowing the player to progress. I wish there was asecond game that not only tells a completely new story, but doesn't just showcase gamemechanics. The game also felt kind of short. If there were to be a second game, making itlonger and still keeping all of the previously listed things all of the way through wouldturn this review into a five star.

The challenge is simple enough-as many poor reviews will tell you, but theseclearly stopped playing at the games beginning- the the puzzles do grow more difficultand intricate down the road. Besides gameplay, The artwork is stunning, eachenvironment is fresh, original, and dynamic; as the narrative grows more turbulent theweather will become increasingly stormy and so on. That being said if you require fastpaced addictive stimulation do not waste your time trying to enjoy this masterpiece. I feelmany bad reviews come from the types of gamers accustomed (spoiled) by games thatdo everything for them in terms of storytelling and fast paced action. If you have thepatience and perceptive facilities required to enjoy a fine novel or a walk in the park dogive it a try. If not steer clear!
