One of the things that I like about Tomboy: Love in Hot Forge is that it has a medieval fantasy type setting. Our main character is a young man who is down on his luck. He is on the streets, he doesn’t even have a penny to his name and he is all alone. That is until he meets Bridgid. Bridgid is a blacksmith and she may look tough as nails (that is because she is) however, she has an absolute heart of gold, and seeing you cold and alone, she invites you in to spend the night.

One Thing Leads To Another

Look, you know that the MC and Bridgid are going to start banging, Tomboy: Love in Hot Forge is a lewd visual novel after all so that is a given. However, this is not just two hot people having great sex with no substance! Instead, we get what I would say is best described as a love story as these two start to connect and while they have some hot erotic sex, they also build a connection and it is impossible not to really like Bridgid. The writing is a little spotty due to the translation, but it all makes sense and I had no trouble following the story and understanding what the developer/writer intended.

30 Minutes In Heaven

One of the criticisms that I have seen thrown the way of Tomboy: Love in Hot Forge is that it only lasts for around 30 minutes. I feel that this is the perfect time for the story that was being told here. I was able to connect with Bridgid in that time and while I could happily have had more scenes of her and the MC spending time together and developing more. I feel that they managed to tell a good love story here and by the end of it, you feel like you were part of it. Now, this is a lewd kinetic visual novel so it does mean that there are no choices. But, I think that is for the best as the developer had a story that they wanted to tell, and having choices could have altered that.

Strong, But Sexy

The first time you see Bridgid naked in Tomboy: Love in Hot Forge is awesome! The whole tomboy thing is a bit odd as she is absolutely gorgeous, she has such a cute and expressive face that it is so easy to fall in love with her. However, perhaps the “tomboy” part of the title comes from her shredded body! I have always had a thing for fit babes and she certainly fits that category. There are a few sex scenes where she takes control such as the epic Amazon position one. The sex scenes are all animated and the animation is nice and smooth too which helps make things even hotter.
