Shadows Over Solomon Falls is a casual game with suspense elements. Players take on the role of a detective investigating the mysterious disappearance of Lisa Patterson in the town of Solomon Falls. The game uses a text-based adventure format, where players must make different choices to advance the plot and influence their attributes and desires as they face various events and challenges, gradually delving into the town's secrets. As the game progresses, players will encounter a variety of characters, investigating cases together and building deep emotional bonds. Depending on the player's desires, intimate animations for corresponding characters will be unlocked, providing a highly stimulating experience.

Characters of Shadows Over Solomon Falls:

Your character: A person who has long been interested in the occult. You get lured to a small town by a mysterious letter and quickly discover that things are more than they seem.

Lisa Patterson: A girl that has gone missing and is your reason for being in this town.

Ray and Grace Patterson: Lisa's parents.

Sheriff Jeremiah Drake: The unfriendly local shieriff.

Janice Stewart: Your unfriendly landlady.

Sean Stewart: Her possibly perverted grandson.

Lou Perry: Owner of the local diner.

Mayor Ned Tisdale: The mayor of this town.

Mark Tisdale: His son, Lisa's boyfriend and a bit of a jerk. Is there more to him than this?

Karl Van Horn: The very odd local rich guy. Why does he wear a gas mask?

Riley Carpenter: Karl's assistant and the only one who can understand him when he speaks.

The initial release has quite a few more characters to find and interact with. More are planned and will be added as the game progresses. The NPCs have varied personalities and sexual preferences as well. 

Features of Shadows Over Solomon Falls:

Very good world, about mystery, fantasy-elements, paranormal investigaton. (Reminds me of Alan Wake, but goes in different witchy directions, really nice.)

A lot of Npc's, and you can interact with a lot of them, but also avoid them if you want.

Corruption-system that works with the story, you have to be more careful than in other games.

Multiple endings, multiple path's, multiple ways of reaching the same goals.

Good art, atmospheric renders, and good UI (graphics look a bit old, but the UI and the atmosphere are really nice. It does not have animations, but the writing is good and not annoying.)

Witchy elements (Nice alternative to other witch-games that parodize harry potter, because this is really dark and mysterious. It contains topics of magic, supernatural beings, witch hunts and burnings, familiars, ghosts, dreams, and more.)

Variety of sex-scenes, you could play full straight, or full lesbian if you want, both has content, I found a good middle-ground of both, and was still able to avoid the jerks that I didn't like. Also has Trans-start-option in addition to that.

Writing is really good, it has the quality of a book sometimes. Sometimes it's too much, even a book wouldn't tell you so much details, but it's mostly avoidable because of the question/answer system of npc's, and maybe you want to read it.

-Investigation elements, like notes, collecting clues, following hints, confront suspects, talking with others about the case and getting alone in dangerous situations.

Gameplay it's an odd but satisfying hybrid. Early sandbox freedom lets you explore jobs, flirt, and interact with NPCs, while life-sim elements like skill checks and side loops make the world feel tangible. Some mechanics, like money, are underused, but the narrative more than compensates. Character creation is robust, letting you customize your main character’s personality and even choose a transgender start, a rare and appreciated option. Choices throughout the game feel meaningful, affecting dialogue, romance options, branching routes, and interactions with the town’s darker elements. The corruption system is a standout feature: fully integrated into story beats, interactions, and even sex scenes, it makes your decisions impactful and changes who your character becomes, giving each playthrough a distinct experience.

Visually, the game is solid. The renders aren’t flashy, but they consistently hit the right tone and atmosphere, capturing the creepy small-town horror vibe while supporting steamy elements. The UI is tidy and comfortable for an HTML game, making navigation smooth and enjoyable. While the visuals aren’t over-the-top, they complement the story and mood seamlessly.

Adult content is thoughtfully integrated. Sex scenes are varied, steamy, and fully tied to the story, never feeling like interruptions. There’s also an option to skip more intense content, showing careful planning. You can play straight, lesbian, or mix it up, and the game responds with different reactions. Conclusion:

This story had me HOOKED from start to current end, and MC & Eric are hot as fuck (especially when they're together). I also like how there's a balanced mix of male and female characters for more varied sex scenes and a lot of content no matter the path you pick. Can't wait for the update!
