Shin-chan's grandfather, Ginnosuke, teaches him to catch insects and fish, letting him experience the joys of rural games. Every evening, the family gathers around the sunken fireplace, enjoying delicious Akita cuisine, which becomes their most cherished time. In the village, Shin-chan chatted with the farmers and made new friends. His days were incredibly fulfilling, until…

One morning, Hakuro, covered in coal dust, appeared in front of the house. Shin-chan looked at Hakuro blankly, but Hakuro suddenly ran off…!
