In Silence Mobile is a multiplayer competitive game that blends horror and survival elements. The game is divided into two factions: one player, as a hearing-impaired monster, explores the map, aiming to kill all survivors or prevent their escape before the time limit, thus winning. The survivors, on the other hand, must collect various items on the map and utilize weapons, vehicles, and traps to hinder and even kill the pursuing monster. Each survivor has a flashbang, which temporarily blinds the monster, giving them a second chance to escape. Players must remain cautious and quiet at all times. Of course, when confident, players can also choose to use voice chat to discuss battle plans. Ultimately, which faction will emerge victorious?

Gameplay of In Silence Mobile:

One player plays as 'RAKE', a monster with poor eyesight but excellent hearing . The monster's objective is to kill all the survivors before they can escape or get a weapon and kill itself, or to hinder them before the time limit runs out.Monsters have a very bad vision, so they must rely on the radar located at the bottom of the center and recognize the surroundings. The red exclamation mark tells you which direction it sounds, and you can guess how much the sound comes from the size and location of the exclamation mark. A big exclamation mark is in the middle of the middle means in front of you. The larger the noise and the greater the view, the clearer the vision, and the clearest when we catch the survivor.The monster's field of view is red and very cloudy as a whole, so you can distinguish the form of the survivor in bright places, but even in the dark, even thorns are dramatically shorter, so you can rely on radar.

The remaining 2-5 players can win in two ways while playing as survivors. Gather the items you need to escape and escape, or open the arsenal and kill the monster with a weapon.Survivors cannot see the map by default, but one random person becomes a guide who can see the map.All survivors have a flash bean as the only means of response to the monster, and when they are caught by the monster, they can run some of the batteries that have a B key to cast the monster by casting the monster and not seeing for a few seconds. Shh ... be quiet!: After a step you take, a word you say, a toy you pressed or a vase you broke, it is only a matter of time before you face the creature… Maybe this is what you want? Where am i: Every episode you play will not be the same as the previous one. Your perks, escape points, item locations, different missions etc. will change with every game. You will never feel comfortable and know what might happen.

Run or Hunt!: As a Survivor, you have two options. To escape, you can find the missing parts of the car and fix it, or you can solve the mystery in the game and open its secret arsenal to hunt the monster.

Useful Tips of In Silence Mobile:

Assembling the Car: There is a car nearby that players can use to escape, but first, they will need to gather components to make the car functional. Once all of the car parts have been collected and assembled, players will be able to escape and have won the round. Players will need to search various buildings in the area to find these parts or find them on the ground nearby. This process can be difficult, as players will need to search cabinets, drawers, and rooms while the monster is pursuing them, or make sense of the confusing landscape of the area outside. Following signs and lights can help players as they navigate the world and look for resources. The monster knows where the car is located, so keep an eye out while repairing the car. If one of the players is able to access the armory, the rest of the survivors will have a limited amount of time to reach the car. If survivors are having issues finding the car, they can look for a dog in a cage outside of one of the houses. The dog will lead the player to the car, and will make noises when the player is near so they can find it.

Batteries: In addition to car parts, players can also find batteries scattered about in different buildings to charge up their flashlight. This flashlight not only will help the survivor see and make their way through the farm, but will also serve as a defensive weapon against the Rake. Be careful, because if the monster sees cabinets open in a house from players looking for itrems, they are likely to search the entire house for survivors. Once the flashlight has a full battery, it will stop consuming batteries that the player picks up and will leave them there for them to find later on. The monster is hyper sensitive to light and sound, due to it being blind, so players should use the flashlight sparingly. It is harder for the monster to see the flashlight when a player is inside a building, however. If a player has enough battery in their flashlight, and they have been caught by the monster, one of the best strategies is to use the flashbang effect against it and run away. After a flashbang is used, the monster will not be able to see the radar for a few seconds, giving the survivor the advantage. This may also blind other survivors, however, so try to make sure none are around before using it. 

Traps: Survivors can use a variety of decoys in In Silence in order to confuse the monster. Players can place bear traps they find in houses at entrances of an area in order to trap the monster. They can also place camouflage around the map to trick the monster. Players can also put scarecrows that they find out in open areas to distract the monster and have it waste time. 

Player Comments of In Silence Mobile:

After playing the game for some time with a few friends (and a few matches outside of that in public lobbies), I've found that the game can actually be quite enjoyable, when partaken in the right company. While there are certainly aspects of it that could use some tweaks, for the price you pay, I feel that your getting a somewhat enjoyable experience for you and your friends to indulge in.

Now, granted, the game, as of time of writing, has just only now adopted Version 0.6, and is therefore still in early access. So my observations are to be taken with a grain of salt...

In terms of game play mechanics and replay ability, it leaves a touch to be desired. Some mechanics, such as the Rake's hearing (or otherwise its ability to perceive its surroundings), could use a bit of polishing and tweaks to give the players a true feeling of being a beast without sight, hunting its prey. The means in which this is put into practice now has been described as "clunky" and "ineffective", and could do well to take inspiration from games such as "Lurking" to create a more practical and/or enjoyable experience. Especially when, as a survivor, you learn very quickly on that simply crouch walking, not using prox. chat, or not using a flashlight (in what is a perfectly bright enough environment as is for survivors) makes you virtually invisible unless the Rake quite literally stumbles into you, which in itself is extraordinarily difficult given that unless the players are actively making noise comparable to that of a car alarm, or are standing under a bright light, you cannot navigate your surroundings, regardless of what environmental or active effects the Rake may have at any given moment in time. Skewing the game almost entirely in the survivors favour.

That being said, something that the game does actually execute quite well is creating a tense atmosphere. Game to game, you are almost always in a state of growing anxiety that anything you do can bring this beast barreling out of the shadows at you with little warning. And once the beast finds you, the sudden half second transition from absolute silence to roaring in your face has actually had myself and friends literally falling out of their chairs, only getting back up just in time to sprint away. Of course, the developers can double down on this strength by emphasizing that already tense atmosphere by not only creating a atmosphere that inspires anxiety, but one that inspires utter terror in their players, even when the Rake is nowhere near. Whether this be done by having the chance for a player to break a twig or other fauna at random when moving, creating a dense fog permeating the whole of the map, forcing the players into loud and/or lengthy tasks, dynamic ambiance and music, modifications to the movement of players and the Rake (making the movement of the former more fluid and immersive when walking or running, and creating a more unnatural and dynamic movement of the beast, respectively), and more cinematic interactions (i.e., for players, when repairing or interacting, have the player contribute to that scene in some way to make them feel as a part of it, rather than just watching. And for the Rake, when a player is found, rather than repeating the same animation, have it be sudden and dynamic; Such as the Rake pouncing on the target or pulling them away into a more gruesome and struggled death).

Graphically, the game works. Nothing too special, though the option for lower spec systems and higher spec ones to make adjustments accordingly to create a more immersive experience, like the one shown in the trailer, would be a nice touch.

Now, of course, I am not a developer, so this is, again, to be taken with many a grain of salt. This game has some time before it becomes a full fledged title, but is certainly on track to become one, should the right steps be taken. All in all, for the price that is being paid, the active development of the game, and the experience you have the potential to reap from it, certainly justifies the more than fair pricing of the game. And with due time, investment, and updates, the game has the potential to become a true horror experience that will leave the players alike rattled, broken, fearful, and panicked for many hours to come.

Final words:

In Silence Mobile is a fun and scary experience best played with friends. Its sound-based gameplay, dark atmosphere, and intense chase moments make it stand out among other horror titles. The thrill of sneaking around or hunting others never gets old. While limited maps and a smaller player base hold it back a bit, it’s still a must-try for anyone who enjoys a spooky multiplayer game.
