Build a fire in the fire pit by dragging a villager to the pile of dry wood in the southwest part of the village. After there’s wood in the fire pit, have them find some dry grass west of the coconut trees. After both grass and wood are in the fire pit, drag a villager to the pit so they light the fire. The supply will need to be restocked periodically our your fire will go out.

Build a dam to route water from the stream to a suitable farming location. After getting Level 2 Engineering, drag a villager to the rocks in the middle of the lower end of the stream. As long as you have the Engineering Tech, you will see a message about building a dam.

Build a scarecrow to protect the crops from birds by dragging a Master Farmer to the twisted wood and vines located in the northern corner of the village. You’ll need to bring supplies back to the farm area twice in order to get enough supplies to complete the scarecrow. If you don’t finish construction on the scarecrow, birds will eat your crops.

Make cutting tools to remove overgrown vegetation around the village. After acquiring Exploration Tech Level 2, drag a Master Scientist to the northern part of the village to the rocks by the twisted wood and vines. Something will be discovered and two trips will be required to make special tools.

Master six plants located around the village. You will know each plant is mastered when a message appears on screen. Starting with the odd-looking plant just left of the very dry grass in the northwest part of the village, move clockwise toward the blue flower between the thorns and rocks. Next find the small lavender flower at the north end of the graveyard, followed by the black flowers by the waterfall. Proceed to the reddish flowers south of the dam. Close with the orangish-red flower at the south edge of the village.

Great game! Really fun trying to craft items, to find new things to help you progress in the game. Loving building the statues at the moment, love how each thing you do reveals another part. can't wait to complete them and move onto the next chapter. Even though I experienced a glitch with a purchase, this was resolved in a timely and professional manner, that was diligent and quick. This game performs almost like an idel game, and one that needs regular attendance, a perfect balance. I love the detailing, naming of the villagers, game play, story line and graphics! This is an in depth relaxed game with crafting, adventure, farming.

I'd give 5 stars but as soon as I start progressing a Network Error (E02-0) pops up. It's not my connection as I've restarted my phone and can use youtube and other wifi apps. Please fix and get back to me and I'll change the rating based on how long it takes for you to reply. Edit: The issue did get resolved and luckily my villagers were still there. This is a great quality game with great service as the issue was resolved within a day. Thank you for solving the problem.

Why is my island shaking?

This means that a crack is going to appear. Get your rope (craft vine + vine) ready for some goodness!

What is the yellow cloak for?

The yellow cloak (hanging by the tree above the love shack) can be worn by an adult villager who is master of all skills. The master villager is important in the later part of the game (solving puzzle 10 and 11) because he/she will be needed to craft plans to make the green and blue statues.

What is the heron doing?

The heron flies around and eats the poisonous frogs that make the villagers sick. You can also drag child villagers onto the frogs to remove them.You could also pay for the heron's house for $13.98 to make his stay permanent. However, I don't see as many frogs as cracks, so buying the lemur could be more worth the money.

How much food is gained from mushrooms, coconuts, crops and fish?

Children can forage mushrooms. Each mushroom is worth 8 food.Coconuts, crops and fish give you 12 food.

What do the technology upgrades for food do?

It is important to get your food upgrade to level 2. Level 0 (the basic) only provides coconuts as a food source, which is problematic to allow your village to survive in the long run - you have to upgrade food technology ASAP. Level 1 allows your villagers to do farming. However, the crops are finite, so it can barely sustain the village especially if you plan to expand it. Level 2 presents the possibility of fishing, which is great because Isola seems to have unlimited fish. Level 3 onwards just increases the amount of food you can get from foraging/farming/fishing, so I would not suggest upgrading so soon (I waited forever to upgrade my technology for research first before other technologies).
