Introduction
Arena of Valor is a popular MOBA game featuring 5v5 real-time battles. Players choose from hundreds of heroes and form well-coordinated teams to battle on a large map. Players need to quickly accumulate gold and skillfully utilize different hero abilities to eliminate enemy players, push towers, and ultimately win, climbing the ranks to compete against players worldwide. The game also offers diverse gameplay modes, including matchmaking and awakening modes, providing not only fun gameplay but also rewards. Each hero has attractive skins that players can freely change, giving them unique skill effects on the map and earning the envy of other players.
Features of Arena of Valor:
Classic 5v5 MOBA map: Arena of Valor offers three lanes, jungle skirmishes, and towers to push as your team secures key objectives. You control a hero and coordinate with teammates to outplay rivals through positioning and timing. Clear roles and map layout help new players find their place while still allowing advanced decision making.
Quick matchmaking and short matches: Matchmaking is designed to get you into games fast, and most battles finish in about fifteen minutes or less. This length works well for mobile play, since you can complete a match without lengthy waiting. As a result, you can practice more often and improve steadily across sessions.
100+ heroes across distinct roles: There are more than one hundred heroes within tank, mage, assassin, marksman, and support roles. Each hero has unique skills that reward practice and good timing in fights. Arena of Valor also hosts collaborations, and some regions include icons such as Batman, which adds variety when building team compositions.
Play with friends and form guilds: You can squad up and coordinate strategies with friends or guildmates. Team roles and lane assignments become clearer when everyone shares objectives and timing. Over time, consistent play with a group helps build familiarity with rotations and map control.
Ranked ladder and ongoing modes: Arena of Valor features a ranked ladder with seasonal tiers, so you can climb and track progress as the meta evolves. Beyond ranked, there are multiple modes such as Classic 5v5 and festival events that rotate with exclusive rewards. This mix lets you choose high-stakes competition or lighter play depending on your schedule.

Useful Tips of Arena of Valor:
Never take on a defense tower alone. When you want to attack a defense tower, it's best to first let your soldiers get within range of the tower so it will attack them first. However, if you see that your soldiers are dying quickly, you should move out of range of the defense tower as soon as possible so you can dodge the attacks from the tower.
There are three monsters in the left Wild Zone: one buff monster and two small monsters. Kill them to gain experience and Gold and restore a small amount of HP.
The buff monster on the left side of the Wild Zone is the Sage Golem, and is recommended for Mages or those who have skills with high damage. Heroes who use up mana quickly should kill these monsters and cooperate with teammates as much as possible. Killing a Sage Golem will give you 2% mana regen per second and reduce skill cooldown by at least 20%.
In the right Wild Zone, there are three monsters as well: one buff monster and two small monsters. Kill them to gain experience and Gold and restore a small amount of HP.
The buff monster on the right Wild Zone is a Might Golem. It's recommended that Archers, Warriors, or Assassins kill this monster. By killing the Might Golem, your normal attacks will slow down the enemy and have a sustained damage effect. (Some Archer Hero can destroy a less flexible Hero in the early game if he is not careful. The Archer can kite his opponent while slapping the enemy hero with movement speed reductions, absolutely brutalising him.)
In the early stages, it isn't easy to take down the Garnak. A single hero can't take him down easily, but you can work together with your teammates to defeat him. However, it's best to take down the Garnak after victory is secured in order to block the other team from stealing him. If the enemy team gets the Garnak first, there’s a high chance you’ll be defeated.
Use of recovery skills will be interrupted if you take damage, so we recommend you return to the safe zone before using them. If you stay in the group while using recovery skills and get attacked by enemy soldiers, you will waste a good chance to recuperate.

Hero Types of Arena of Valor:
Marksman: Also known as "AD Carry/ADC", marksmen are ranged heroes that usually deal physical damage mostly through their auto attack. This hero type deals sustained damage, and therefore is useful in teamfights in order to reduce the opponent's health. They are also very efficient in taking objectives such as turrets. However, they are often fragile and vulnerable. Examples of marksmen are Violet, Valhein, and Yorn.
Mage: Mages are sometimes known as "AP Carry/APC". These heroes deal a high amount of burst magic damage. Some mages are fragile while some mages are more durable depending on the respective itemization. Mages are a mix of ranged heroes, which deal damage from afar, or melee heroes, which deal damage from close distances. Examples of mages are Raz, Krixi, and Zata.
Assassin: These are heroes that are designed to deal large amounts of damage quickly, and often do not have much health. Assassins often search for the enemy marksman or mage as well as any other fragile heroes to eliminate quickly. They are also responsible for shutting down enemies that are on a killing spree. They have high mobility and burst damage for focusing valuable enemy targets. Examples of assassins are Wukong, Zill, and Sinestrea.
Tank: Tanks are heroes that have large amounts of HP and usually build completely defensive to be able to soak damage for the team. As a result, they often deal little damage. However, they often have abilities known as 'crowd control' that allow them to inhibit the movement of the enemy team. In addition to this, they can use these abilities to initiate a teamfight, or to prevent the enemy team from attacking high priority targets such as an ally marksman or mage. Examples of tanks are Roxie, Thane, and Toro.
Warrior: Heroes that blend the attributes of damage dealer and tank, combining moderate survivability with respectable damage. Warriors usually have a balanced amount of health, defense, and attack damage, which is a common designation for close-range melee duelists. Thus, they are able to survive long periods of fighting and excel in doing continuous sustained damage. Warriors are all-rounded and tend to be extremely strong in 1v1 scenarios. Examples of warriors are Florentino, Yena, and Lu Bu.
Support: Heroes whose abilities aid the rest of the team by providing healing, buffing allies (such as movement speed buffs), debuffing the enemy team (such as stunning), or a combination of the above. Support heroes are often paired with the marksman in the early laning phase of the game where the support doesn't kill minions but instead focuses on aiding their partner and harassing the enemy heroes. Support heroes usually aid ally marksmen as they are often weaker during the early phase of the game and need assistance in order to survive. Examples of supports are Alice, Lumburr, and Krizzix.

FAQs of Arena of Valor:
What is a Free Hero Rotation?
Every week, we put 6 heroes up for free for all players to try out. This is the best opportunity for you to extensively play these heroes before deciding to add them permanently to your roster!
My team is getting attacked, but I need more Gold and EXP. What is more important: helping my team during fights or clearing out a minion wave to get more Gold and EXP?
Most of the time, it's more important to help your team fight, as this basically turns a 4v5 into a 5v5, which could be the difference between winning and losing. It's also important to effectively clear minions in your lane, but when your team needs you, go and help!
How do I ping and try to get the attention of a certain player have my team focus on a certain hero?
Expand your minimap by tapping on the magnifying glass icon on the upper left and then tap on one of the hero bubbles. Your ping will be customized to include that specific hero. This is useful if you want to emphasize who should listen or if your team should focus fire on a certain hero.
Why do I lose health so easily?
To be effective at staying in your lane and gaining Gold/EXP, you need to know how to avoid enemy attacks while also getting in your own attacks. It is usually a good idea to let your minions (small guys that spawn in waves from your base) first engage their minions before fighting, otherwise their minions may target you. To keep your HP up, make sure you use your regeneration next to the recall (return to the base) button as well as the regeneration located behind the tower. Make sure you don't get hit while under the effects of regeneration, otherwise it will get interrupted and end early. For fighting the enemy, be aware of what abilities they're using and their range, so you could ideally avoid their abilities while you could get yours on them or the minions (Gold/EXP). This is especially true if you know an enemy hero has some form of CC, as they will most likely open on you with one, preventing you from escaping while their teammates gang up on you. Making sure you don't get caught unaware is important, especially if you're a high-damage, low-health class (Mage, Assassin, Marksman), as you dying means you won't even be able to get in your damage.
Why should I kill the dragon (Abyssal Dragon) or the big purple guy (Dark Slayer)?
Killing these can significantly help your entire team out through the Gold/EXP/buff (Dark Slayer) they provide, but you usually need teamwork to take them out. If you notice a tank or someone pinging/alerting you to help them kill it and the others are going, it's usually a good idea to do this. Be aware though that if the enemy team knows you're doing this and you're all evenly matched, you guys might get ambushed in the middle of fighting one of the monsters. If you're able to take one down though, it is extremely good for the entire team.
Final words:
Arena of Valor offers tight, engaging battles with a deep roster of heroes, high-quality visuals, and responsive controls. While there is room for minor improvements in voice features, connectivity options, and support hero balance, the game's overall package stands out as an accessible and rewarding mobile MOBA experience.
