Jock Studio is a story-driven dating simulation game where players follow freshman Ace Anderson as he arrives at Olympus University, a place filled with all sorts of muscular men, and witness his extraordinary life journey. Players will join a secret club, encounter men with diverse personalities, and participate in various film and television productions as a new member of the troupe. While unlocking exciting animations, players will help Ace find his love and life goals. Jock Studio features different storylines, and the plot will take different directions depending on the player's choices. Who will you ultimately live happily ever after with? The game is constantly being updated, with more exciting storylines and animations being added continuously, so stay tuned!

Characters of Jock Studio:

Ace Anderson: He explores his identity and interacts with other members of the secret club, including Bryce Callahan, Leo Mendes, Derek Kingsfield, Yuuto Nakajima, Avan Geiserford and Wayne Alexander. Ace is portrayed as a more open and receptive figure, with an empathetic stance on issues of sexual identity, and organisation. Similar to many young adults going through self-discovery, he becomes more confident in his identity and the relationships he develops. Ace also faces challenges related to college life and his own feelings, navigating different aspects of his life, including friendships and dilemmas related to the secret club. His personality is marked by a combination of kindness, courage, and a sense of justice, which makes him an appealing figure to others. Ace thus represents the "empathetic hero", someone who, despite his own doubts and personal issues, is able to help others overcome their own conflicts. This self-discovery and mutual support helps explore these emotional and identity-related issues.

Bryce Callahan: A complex character with a layered personality. He is described as an extroverted young athlete, quite popular, a party-goer, and with an aggressive, hyper-masculine behavior, embodying the "alpha male" stereotype. However, this tough exterior hides his insecurities, especially concerning his sexual identity. He is in the "closet" and reacts defensively to any questions about his sexuality, often using insults and trying to intimidate others to avoid confronting his own feelings. Bryce is part of a fraternity and joins a secret club called Jock Studio. He keeps this a secret, fearing that his reputation at university would be ruined if anyone finds out. This secret keeps him constantly on edge, trying to maintain the facade that he is only there for the money. Despite his aggressive stance, he begins to get involved with Ace, and his relationship with him becomes a key point of development as Ace helps him deal with his insecurities. Additionally, Bryce has a secret need to be submissive in sexual relationships, a desire he tries to hide, believing that it would make him appear weak or less "masculine" in what is an internal conflict.

Leo Mendez: Carefree and bursting with energy, Leo Mendez is the ace player of the Soccer Club. This young go-getter is always keen to try something new, whether it's an interesting class, an exciting game, or a crazy hangout with friends. Leo always says 'YES' to everything, even joining Jock Studio, for better or worse!

Zayne Alexander: Everyone knows Zayne Alexander, the star member of the Basketball Club and the most popular guy at Olympus University. Rumor has it this charming and handsome guy is quite the playboy, even off-campus, but no one minds - after all, who wouldn’t want him? Zayne might seem like an unusual member of Jock Studio considering his notoriety, but he’s always looking for something… or someone new to conquer!

Yuuto Nakajima: “Chaotic” is the best word to describe Yuuto Nakajima, a talented member of the volleyball club. Full of boundless energy, Yuuto is the life of the party — as far as he knows. he is compassionate and empathetic to everyone and everything around him, despite his wild and blockheaded nature. Yuuto joined Jock Studio by accident, but he’s more than happy and determined to show what he’s made of!

Let’s dive straight into our Twenty-fifth Development Diary, showcasing updates from our various departments and what they’ve been working on since our last update!

Part 1 – New 3D & Painted Backgrounds!

Continuing our tour of Olympus City over the last few months, we have two more city locations, designed by Sana and 3D Rendered by Micman, ready to preview! Check them out below:

These two locations couldn’t be more opposite of one another – but both are full of exciting activities and events to explore!

First off, down an alleyway off of Emporio Avenue (which was previewed last month), you’ll find the Kokkinos Strip, otherwise known as the city’s red light district! Filled with strip clubs, sex shops, and even a dark and seedy alleyway, there’s plenty of debauchery to go around!

Meanwhile, if you’re looking to escape the chaos of the city, look no further than the Acropolis Park! As the city’s main recreation area, the park spans deep into the mountain, sporting ruins, wilderness trails, and more! If you’re more into civilized park activities, don’t worry – we hear there’s even some special events that take place here on the weekends!

There’s still lots more to see of the city, as well as the completed City Map in the future, but for now, let’s return to campus and check out a few fully-painted locations, rendered by Kyun! 

Both of these restaurants have been previewed in 3D format before, but we’re happy to show them off in their finished state now! You can visit both Starbuffs, previously known as the University Café, and Taverna Olympia, previously known as the University Restaurant, on campus and throughout the story of Jock Studio!

Whether you’re looking for a quick coffee, or want a fine-dining experience away from the mess hall, both of these locations offer unique meals – and benefits to go along with them! Be sure to check them out – you never know who you might find inside!

Part 2 – Festival Locations & Crowds!

It’s been a while since we shared a preview of some of Fuschia and AlexW’s work on the crowds around campus, and this time we have something extra special to show – the Central Park has undergone a fancy setup for the Olympus Festival, and the students and residents of the city have come out to celebrate! Check out the previews of both these new background variants and their crowd arts below!

Wow, the Olympus Festival sure looks like a wild event, from the backgrounds alone! During the Festival, each of the various houses around the campus setup their own custom booths and activities, available for all the students and residents of the city to come and take part in! This is each of the club’s biggest fundraisers of the year, and the members all have… creative ideas when it comes to activities and events.

You’ll have to wait and see how Ace and the Jocks get involved during this event, but you can already see plenty of people having fun at this exciting festival – including several familiar faces making cameo appearances! See who all you can spot in these beautifully rendered backgrounds, Olympians!

Part 3 – Puppet Animations: Standing Oral Previews!

Last time, we had a very exciting puppet preview of the first penetration series of animations, and while there’s more of that to “cum” in the future, let’s take a step back and return to our Oral Animations for a little bit, with variations of the Standing Oral series, animated by Monacodingo! Every Jock has their blowjob preference, and Ace is more than happy to oblige – he likes all six ways! While our preview is of Ace going to town on the Jocks, as a reminder all puppet animations are fully reversible and completely customizable pairings – you can choose who’s doing the sucking and who’s getting sucked, and who’s paired with who! You have full control of the scene!

There are a few more oral previews to showcase in the future, as well as more of the penetration scenes, so stay tuned!

Part 4 – Programming Preview: Character Locations on the Map!

Next up, we have a highly anticipated feature to showcase today – after hearing all of your feedback from Demo 2.1, we’ve had a chance to update a core feature of the Campus Map, worked on by Sticmac – check it out below:

Now, when playing the full game of Jock Studio, clicking on a location around both campus and the city will show you which characters are hanging out there! No more blindly traveling, hoping to find the Jocks – you can explore the world with ease, chasing around your favorite boys to all their favorite spots!

Part 5 – Side Character Casual Clothing Previews!

Finally, to wrap-up this development diary, we have another Side Character Sprite Costume to show! Last time, we bared it all (almost) with the towel outfits, but this time we’re dressing to impress with the character’s casual outfits! Check them out below:

As you can see, each of these boys has their own unique fashion sense – some better (or worse) than others, depending on who you ask! Designed and drawn by Zael, AlexW and Magia, you can encounter all of these characters out and about the campus and town, usually sporting this every day wear outfit!

Believe it or not, there’s still a couple more side character costumes to show off in the future, but we’ll have more news on that in a separate development diary!

Currently, only Jock Studio’s Demo 1 is available for Android. Our priority is to develop the full game for PC/Mac at this time.

There are no plans for an additional demo at this time. Our priority is to complete the base game at the soonest time possible.

Like most people have mentioned, I am SO ridiculously hyped for this game that it's just so hard to wait for its completion!  I binge-played Demo 2 over the last couple of days doing most of the routes (before running into the Save button issue every time I tried retrying to pursue Yuuto, so I kinda just gave up at that point, lol).

I am so hyped that I'm def considering pre-ordering.  But I wanted to ask, if we pre-order on itch, will we be able to get a Steam key?  I have had the game wishlisted on Steam since its announcement and prefer having as many games in my library there as possible for ease of use and in case I ever get a Steam Deck.  I really want to pre-order, but at the same time, I'd still like to be able to have the game via Steam.

I also just wanted to agree with another comment that this game just feels so ALIVE.  THe characters and setting are so fun and vibrant and everything feels like a wonderful mish-mash of popular BL characters and settings that it feels both comfortable but also very unique!  I love the art, the characters, the music, and the gameplay.  I am still a little worried that all the different systems and stats might get a bit overwhelming, but I guess we'll be able to unlock the cheat mode eventually, lol.

I also really love Ace as a main character with how open he is and I also love how most of his club friends are super accepting of his quirkiness.  I can understand why people have negative reactions to Bryce, being so openly homophobic, he does feel a bit out of place among this gay guys' utopia (despite obviously being attracted to men despite his protestations), lol.  But he is still very hot and his route does seem to have some of the kinks that I like so I def pursued him once and am interested to see where his story goes in the full game.  But I love how caring Derek is (my personal fave!), how playful and suave Zayne is, how quirky Yuuto is, how cute Leo is, and how cool but kinky Avan seems to be.

I also wanted to mention that some of the minigames in Demo 2 felt rather unbalanced compared to each other.  The photoshoot minigame was very simple, so was the weight machine minigame (the orange one), whereas the treadmill minigame (yellow) felt very difficult--it was easy to understand and follow but got MUCH more difficult over time and seemed to possibly bug out and go on for much longer than it should have.  It also seemed to always give me poor scores when playing it no matter how many phases I did correctly.

Anyway, again, I'm super excited for this game and can't wait to play the full release!

Up to this point, our team has primarily focused on the Windows and Mac versions for the first demo, but we're evaluating the possibility of releasing on Android as well! We can't make any promises, but we'll try our best.

Not a problem! As we become ready to fulfill the rewards, you'll receive a survey where you'll be able to do things like choose your characters for rewards, give us your shirt size, or even decline certain items altogether.
