Wet Sand is a story-driven casual game where players take on the role of Fabian Brook, an ordinary man falsely accused of theft, who unexpectedly becomes the captain of a pirate ship and embarks on a wondrous adventure. Players must not only survive surrounded by a crew of villains but also gradually build their authority on board. Each crew member has their own personality and secrets. Players will make different choices in various story events to advance the plot, recruit new crew members, help them solve problems, build deep emotional bonds, and unlock various sensual animations. Ultimately, will you become a legendary pirate king or be killed by your own crew? It all depends on the player's choices.

Characters of Wet Sand:

Anna Schultz: a red-haired hellcat, bold and dangerous. A curse is far more likely to leave her sharp tongue than a compliment.

Philip Schultz: her cynical brother and the ship's gunner, who trusts only powder and steel.

Bill Graves: the old one-legged quartermaster and your chief mentor. He's been through fire and water, survived a blast of grapeshot, and worse.

Benno: the silent, shy cook. It seems this guy is hiding a secret...

Ethan Huskins: a young cabin boy, dreamy and clumsy, but fiercely loyal to the crew.

Olivia Brown: a mysterious aristocratic passenger paying for a cabin aboard the ship. Her impeccable manners and iron grip won't leave you indifferent.

Lauren Finn: the helmswoman, who never lets go of the wheel... or a bottle of rum. A cheerful, reckless companion.

Hey everyone! How are you doing? We want to share some news with you.

Summer has started, but we’re still working just as hard. At this point, we’ve already made noticeable progress: the first quest is fully illustrated, and we’ve moved on to the next one. As mentioned earlier, the upcoming update will include three character quests and a couple of scenes between them (don’t miss out—go see Benno, and arrange a meeting between Loren and Dolores! Oh, and feel free to use the golden ticket for Madame Nadia’s services).

Things are moving along slowly but surely. The text is ready and translated, and we’re currently sorting out the Chinese language support (most likely simplified first, then traditional). We’re also trying to wake up after a bit of a hibernation and get more active on social media and other channels, updating everything there, etc.

The writer is rereading previously written content (endings, the final quest, other characters’ quests) and making edits, seeing what can be added retroactively (for example, a date with Anna or Lauren on that very day they keep hinting at—before the island with Lou). The broader the story gets, the trickier it is to place everything properly, but we’ll do our best.

The illustrations are being drawn, the animations are being animated—business as usual. At the same time, we’re thinking about what to do next after release. Of course, we’ll see everything through to the end and fix the bugs, but ideas for the next project are already floating around in the air.

As of May 2026 the game (v0.8.7) is still in production but already offers you: a captivating story, which felt like nearly finished; a strong writing: I read it all attentively without a single skipping; a good, sometimes FANTASTIC art and... it leaves you longing for more. Obviously inspired by a well-known franchise with all those distinctive-looking pirates, the game stands on its own with rather original and imaginative plot, and treads just a little on recognition of other franchises. The familiar 'crew bonding' setup (one could've seen in Star Trek, Firefly, the Expanse, Bibop etc) gives you yet another warming experience.It's a VN first and a light point-n-click adventure second, with at least one really cool mini-game (I like the card wargame), all spiced up with: thankfully: not too extreme or perversed sexual content. There's so much sexual fantasy in it (based mostly on human subraces with animalistic features and human-like creatures) that some people might find it disgusting, but at least there are no children, no elderly, no dead, no male homosexual, not even (almost mandatory these days) females with male genitals. Seriously: all your character will encounter is women of different races. Let's hope it won't change.

great writing and beautiful art and consistent high quality thruout makes this a game to watch.i care about most of these characters but just like real life theres a few are just plain jerks that id just as soon see walk the plank.a few unruly minigames make wet sand slightly less than perfect but not enough for me to steal a star.

Interesting plot and pleasant characters. There aren't as many sex scenes as I would like, but there is something I liked the most about the scene with that pirate shark. I thought it would be boring when I went through the quest to fix holes on the ship, but then a lot of interesting things happened. I hope for the completion of the project and for DLS.

This game is a lot like What A Legend for me in how the game plays. and that's a very good thing. I think the author is doing a fantastic job with this game, the theme is great, the girls are great, hell even your male shipmates are great, it feels like a classic adventure game, and then porn is thrown in AFTER the fact, which is awesome. The porn is definitely not lacking though, which is also awesome.

Conclusion:

Wet Sand focuses on exciting experiences related to the journey of pirates. Over time, each person can overcome many different enemies and quickly open up new journeys for themselves. Anyone can receive help or be betrayed by other characters.
