Also, the music is calming unlike some that go to great lengths to have cutesy dragon sounds or disturbing gongs.There is one tiny glitch on a tile in Fish ( lower right) that appears to be selectable, but isn't. You can easily select the one next to it and so it interrupts the flow for just a moment. I do hope this is corrected on the next update.

I want a simple game to play on my tablet that isn't a struggle to see, moves quickly and reasonably, and yet remains challenging. Compared to Mahjong on Win 7, the tiles are not quite as clearly marked - retaining the Chinese characters rather than offering any explanation - but it took little time to make the associations. The tiles were easy enough to read in their size and dimension unlike other Android versions that had tiles too small and not well laid out. It also has a variety of challenging layouts with an option to pay to unlock more. I have thoroughly enjoyed this version.

The art on the tiles is complex enough that you have to pay attention at your matching and there are a huge number of game varieties available. The sounds are enjoyable, and it is easy to pass some time if you are stuck waiting somewhere. This has really beautifully designed tiles. I rarely play any kind of electronic game, but find this one very relaxing and fun to try to beat your own times if I am feeling competitive.

I did love this app. It did play well on the KINDLE FIRE BUT they have now updated it and since then I haven't been able to keep it steady. I want so badly to undo the update. It zooms which is nice for cell phones but the Kindle Fire worked better without the zoom. It won't let me match the tiles easily because it keeps moving. If I zoom it, it works a little better but then I can't see all the tiles. Very frustrating now. I still do like the shading of those tiles that can't be played yet. It has many shapes and a variety of challenges. PLEASE Fix the zoom or change the update back to the way it was. I am downgrading this to a 3 now rather than the 5 I had originally rated it.
