It does a decent job at faithfully adapting the series' iconic characters and storylines and even provides smaller characters with their own unique stories, offering a fresh perspective outside the anime and manga. However, the game's enjoyment is marred by its abhorrent and deceiving gacha system, as well as repetitive combat. If the Hero Association were to rank this game, it would likely fall in the C-class, just a level below Mumen Rider. With the game still in its first year, there's hope that developers will address these flaws and introduce new modes and stories as just like any hero, this game has so much potential.

The game's storyline mirrors Season 1 of One Punch Man, but with a twist: you're not just following Saitama but also other heroes and characters, which adds an extra layer of enjoyment as a fan of the series. Plus, there are never-before-seen stories that delve deeper into characters like Lightning Max. The game does a decent job of condensing and adapting the story to fit the gameplay, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they adapt more arcs in future updates.

I think it's pretty good so far. The game has like three different event missions where you can get free SSR items not including the daily login. The gacha rates are quite bad but at least the pity system is good, guaranteeing a SSR item on the 60th pull (unlike other gacha games that make you pull 80-90 times). The side quests tend to be pretty quick and the rewards gained are pretty good too. The combat is on the simpler side, but also really fun. The main bad thing about this game is the shop (Shocker I know). To explain this, the game has a currency called gold which you can use to convert it into silver (this games equivalent to gems) or buy special offers. One of these is a selector banner that lets you do ten 10 pulls and lets you select one of the results of your pulls. This costs 260 gold. Now, in order to get enough gold, you would need to pay a whopping $45-$50. Every gold purchase has a little silver bonus if it's your first time buying it so I guess that makes it a bit better. The worst thing about this is that converting gold to silver is one to one and one single standard pull costs 260 silver. This means that you would have to pay $45-$50 for 1 SINGULAR PULL. of the time you won't find yourself in this situation unless you can't pull on the selector banner anymore or run out of that first purchase bonus. Please DON'T SPEND AS MUCH MONEY AS POSSIBLE. The game gives you enough free stuff to clear the content anyway and both SSR and SR characters are viable if they fit your play style. Aside from that the story just adapts part of season 1 and a new pov of lightning max, smile man, and lily and what they're doing during the main story. There is no eng dub but that's a minor nitpick. The cutscenes are very well animated and adapted from the anime into this game and the quick time events are a nice addition to some boss fights and cool moments. There's also some other things like mini games and whatnot that make the world feel a bit more alive too. I'd give it a 7.5-8/10. Basically almost everything had at least a decent amount of love and care put into it (which is way more than I can say about other crunchy roll games) except for the greedy money shop which weighs this game down a lot + the story content feels a bit short with only 7 episodes.
