Introduction

Raft Survival: Ocean Nomad is a popular survival adventure game where players find themselves unexpectedly stranded in the vast ocean with only a raft beneath their feet and a hook in their hand. You must use the hook to capture scattered resources and treasure chests to obtain the supplies needed for survival. Use these resources to craft various items, weapons, and armor to defend against sharks and other dangers. As the game progresses, you can continuously expand the height and width of your raft to unlock more structures and explore the ocean depths, uncovering the reasons for your predicament and the truth behind the apocalypse.

Features:

Catch items and resources with you hook: Lots of useful resources in shark games are right under your nose. Chest and barrels floating around always contain vital resources for survival on in the sea and wreckages are really good material for raft building in ocean games. You might even find items, tools and weapons for defense of the raft, so keep on throwing the hook!

Craft weapons and armor: A prey can easily change the rules and become a hunter in shark games. Make a hard choice among hundreds of guns, two - handed blade weapons and armor parts to defend you floating base and hunt sharks. Craft a perfect arsenal and always be ready for the battle.

Defend your raft: Be ready to evolve and fight for survival in the sea with a double effort, now that you’ve got one more problem to deal with. The shark is now joined by swimmers from other survivor games and eager to attack the raft. No man can tame a shark and there’s nowhere to escape, so prepare for shooting and swinging all night and day long!

Build and upgrade: Pay attention to the condition of your raft on the water in survival games in the ocean. It’s not enough to tie together a couple of wooden planks without a roof or even walls to feel safe. Be creative and expand the raft free in height and width, because the only limit for building in survival simulator games 2018 is your imagination. There’s also a lot of upgrades for fishing, storage space extension, that you can improve the floating shelter with to help you survive in the ocean.

Explore the ocean: Ever wondered if there’s lost land with forest woods, jungle and animal pets in this ocean without end? An awesome feature of our island survival games free is now implemented in this one. Don’t sit idle — dare to explore the ocean and islands around. What do they hide: horror or glory, medieval royale treasures or wild tigers and scary dinosaurs from the jurassic age or even an old airplane wreckage? What's more you can find resources, upgrades for the raft and other items on the islands. You won’t need a ship or an ark to sail to them in shark games — a simple boat will do, and may the stars be your guide.

Learn the story of the apocalypse: An unknown devastating cataclysm turned the world into an endless ocean and last survivors are locked on scattered islands like in prison, dreaming of finding their home. The quest of our raft game is to find them and discover the truth of what happened, find other people who could survive and join them.

Strategies:

Came back months later and tried again, but this time in easy mode. I figured if groups play in normal mode then solo should be played in easy mode.

Once you get a scrap-hook, hammer, spear, fishing rod, grill, cup, water purifier and like 12 foundations, the stress level shifts down.

Stab the shark in the face with the spear to stop him from eating your Raft. Then repair the damaged foundation with the Hammer.

Spend some time just Fishing and Hooking with the occasional break for food, water and shark face stabbing.

If possible, ALWAYS hook the barrels and chest.

When it comes to Planks, give priority to food & water, then tools & weapons, then raft expansion.

Use sacrificial foundations. Any protruding foundation has a better chance of being attacked by the Shark (Bruce).

Build a Research Table and put a Small Crop Plot directly under it. Seagulls can't land on it to steal your food. Plant potatoes and/or Beets and don't forget to water them. In return you get 2, so plant one and cook one. Research EVERYTHING!

DO NOT pick flowers. Picking up flowers, early game, is a huge waste of inventory space.

If You have already built a Research Table, then you should have learned "Collection Net". If not, this is your next goal. Once your raft is large enough to add Collection Nets, it shifts again. Collection Nets are key to resource gathering and allow you to relax a little... except for the shark of course...

The shark is a giant pain in the ass. But only really a threat at the very beginning of the game. (Easy/Normal).

As the shark repeatedly attacks your raft, you are whittling away his health. If possible, try and time his death for when you get to an island. When stopping at small islands, most of the resources are underwater on the reef. Have a Throwable Anchor and a paddle ready before you get to a small island. Use your hook and gather everything.

If you manage to kill Bruce, be sure to only take 4 meat and not the head. This will give you extended time before he respawns (8 Minutes). If you take the head he will be back in like 3 minutes. If you really want the shark head, be sure to grab it before he de-spawns. (Within 5 minutes of killing him). Feel free to kill him a couple times if possible. There are a lot of resources on the reef to gather.

Killing Bruce (Shark): Wait for the shark to come at you and then stab him in the face as soon as he opens his mouth, then turn and stab him as many times as possible (1-3 more times if quick enough). Go up for air and wait for him to come at you again. It's like 20 stabs, so the more you can get in one pass the better. If you time your stabs correctly, you take no damage, so it's better to turn and face him rather than turn and flee. Stabbing him in the face when he opens his mouth disrupts the attack, because he closes his mouth in defense. Do not fear the Shark, for he is a great resource for meat.

Player Comments:

I love this game its a fun but challenging game because of the amount of resources you need to have for certain builds. I recently got this error saying ''there is no connection to the server. check your internet connection we are working to fix the problem. To avoid losing progress DO NOT REMOVE THE GAME so now I can't go to the Islands because of this error and I am stuck on the raft but its not my wifi I check the connection a lot so if you could please look into this problem that'll be nice.

it's advertised as an offline game they are some features that requires online connection such as going to an island. The connecting with friends through online connection is acceptable but Nah I rather stay at sea than use my network. Everything else is well done but has ads for some reason.

this is the BEST survival game ever I like how you can craft weapons, make your raft stronger, and fight off bandits though I have a question, where do the bandits come from? well yeah there are some islands with towns that are for tourists but maybe the bandits took that but I like the part when you fixed the plane and found fuel for it i basically grabbed all of my OP weapons and thought I have finished the game 100% just for a random bandit to steal it and the plane explodes lol.

I like the game so much.. it is very enjoyable, but.. I hope the adds will be lesser, cuz the ads always pops up, like every 5min... But it's still cool, I just want you to fix the ads and also, my friend recommended this to me because it was offline and was very cool, but when I downloaded it and then play without my wifi on.. it says that it needs wifi.. but I will still give it a five star because it's enjoyable to play and very challenging.
