Story of Very Little Nightmares:

The Girl in the Yellow Raincoat sees a dream in which she runs away from someone and locks herself in a shed, propping the door with a board. Waking up, the girl notices that the balloon on which she flew pierced the roof of a mansion called The Nest, bursting and stuck among the wreckage. She then pulls the lever above her, causing the remains of the balloon to crash to the floor. After that, she continues on foot.

On the way, she comes face to face with a girl in white running through the pipes to the ventilation opening. Having run through the cell warehouse, she rescues a child in a red scarf, thus encountering the Craftsman, an old disabled man with long arms and legs. Running away from this monster, she manages to hide in one of the boxes for dolls, sent by elevator to the buildings of the Butler, who has the gift of telekinesis. The heroine manages to get away from him, hiding in the halls of the Pretender - the little spoiled mistress managing the Nest.

Finally, the girl reaches the main entrance to the Nest, where the Butler immediately sees and starts chasing her. She runs out into the garden and for some time objects above and beside her are launched at her by the telekinetic Butler. The girl in white helps her to escape from him, along with whom she opens the gate and runs across the trench, where her new partner falls behind and the heroine locks herself in the barn, still thinking that the Butler is chasing her.

After passing through a dump of dolls, the girl accidentally attracts the attention of the Pretender, who is sitting on the edge of the cliff with a broken doll. Aggressively reacting to the heroine, she chased after her, while not thinking about her own safety. Despite the danger, the girl in the raincoat later finds and saves the girl in white from falling onto sharp rocks, for which she, in gratitude, throws a boulder at the Pretender. For a few seconds, the girls looked at her, and while she was unharmed, abruptly stood up and lunged at the heroine. Unfortunately, both of them were not cautious of their surroundings and fell into the ocean, having crashed and drowned to death.The scene after the credits shows the girl in white climbing her way down and running to a raft.

It is a unique ability in this game, where the player has to deal with many situations and use every possibility to survive or progress with each level. Don't Hesitate To Use Your Lighter: There are many points throughout the game in which you will find yourself in complete darkness. You will notice that you are equipped with a lighter, which will serve as your only light source for the rest of the game. The lighter does not run out of gas, so there is no need to worry about overusing it. It can be turned on as much as required by the player.

Make Sure You Light The Lanterns: Throughout the game, you will encounter lanterns scattered throughout each chapter. It is important that you light these using your lighter, as they will save your progress each time one is lit.There are a total of 20 lanterns that can be found throughout the entirety of the game. They will sometimes also appear as candles. Besides saving your progress, lighting all 20 lanterns in the game will give you the Light Up Your Life achievement.

Remember To Break Statues: There are a total of ten statues of Geishas hidden throughout the game. You'll have to take a bit of a detour at times and possibly up your playtime to find them all. That being said, they are one of the main collectibles in the game. Once you have collected all ten, you will unlock the Rascal achievement. Upon finding one, pick it up and throw it so that it shatters. Black smoke emerging from it will be the indicator that you have successfully destroyed it.

Show Nomes Some Love: The Nomes are another one of the two main collectibles that you can acquire during your play through. There is a total of 13 Nomes, and they will require a bit of extra effort to collect. They will run away from Six, but you must follow them for a short period of time before you find them standing still.Grab them and give them a hug. A short tune will play and indicate that you have done this correctly. Upon hugging all 13 of the Nomes, you will unlock the Little Lost Things achievement.

Use The Chapter Selection Menu: This can be very helpful in terms of tracking your progress. It can also assist you regarding your collectibles. If you would like to see which collectibles you are still missing, you can do this from the Chapter Select menuIt is, however, important to note that the first Nome for Chapter 4 cannot be collected through this method. You have to beat Chapter 3 and play until you have reached a save point for this Nome to count. You will not unlock the Little Lost Things achievement without this Nome.

I really enjoyed this game. The art and animation is great. It has good puzzles and great ambient music as well. My daughter and I really enjoyed playing through this together. It's not scary for an adult but my 4 year old daughter thought it was scary. Little Nightmares 2 is the best of the Little Nightmares games but this is a awesome mobile game to throw yourself into the universe while on the go.

Enjoyable and immersive spinoff mobile LN game that is essentially a prequel, with a somewhat lighter tone (as the Hobbit is to the LOTR books). Outstanding art, great sound design and music, puzzles are lightly challenging, achievements are really fun to track down. I prefer more explore-and-solve puzzles and few (or no) boss fights, so the balance in this game really works for me. I loved the storyline of learning about the trolls. The only problem is that it’s quite short. And be sure to watch through the end of the credits to be caught up on the lore revealed in this game. 

Hello! So I just beat very little nightmares 100% completion and I’m ready to write the review. I’m going to start off by saying how great this game is, it perfectly takes the main little nightmares games and turns it into a spin-off title. I do have my problems though. 1. The game does not give you any hints for the puzzles. Now this can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on who you are but I think some of the puzzles are just to difficult and I had to look them up. I could also be very dumb. 2. The game did not have a lot of chases. The game was more puzzle and hiding oriented which it was kinda like the original little nightmares but I think there should have been more running from the enemies witch brings me to my next problem. 3. Not enough enemy encounters and scenes. I personally felt like there wasn’t enough of enemy encounters. The only really big ones are at the end. This is the final problem with a some spoilers. 4. We barely got to do anything with “The pretender” you see her for brief moments at the end of the game before finally going into a chase scene that is mostly climbing down the mountain witch I thought could have been a little more exciting. The final part of the game is just “climbing down the mountain whilst some girl chases you simulator”. But other than those problems I highly recommend this game if you are a fan of the little nightmares franchise or if you like horror games in general. The game is worth every penny.
