You control a stickman warrior, using various controls to maneuver nimbly and wield different weapons to eliminate opponents and claim victory. Gameplay of Stick Fight:

The player takes control over a stick figure character of one of four colours: red, yellow, green or blue; each round, they are placed on a different map, with the goal of defeating other three players by controlling physics-based character's body movement, performing various kicks, punches or jumps. Periodically, various weapons with different abilities appear on the map, which can be equipped and used in the fight. Players can also parry each others attacks, fully blocking the damage.

Maps can contain different interactive objects like lasers or spikes that instantly kill the player on contact, or explosive barrels, that deal significant amounts of damage. Several maps contain "bossfights", where one player is given unique abilities and boosts, while other players must defeat them. If any player falls outside the map, it will be counted as defeat. The game also supports the creation of custom maps made by users, as well as modding outside of Steam Workshop.

The game’s weapon system is what makes each match so unpredictable. There are many subgenres and themes to choose from, such as firearms, cannons, bombs, and even quirky items, such as snake-shooting weapons. Due to the concept of infinite weapons, the fight does not focus on any one genre. In each match, the player can use more than a hundred weapons. Make the casualties in battle as ridiculous and hilarious as possible. Destroy yourself and your colleagues while enjoying this entertaining game.

Levels are another game part that showcases the developer’s attention to detail. Players no longer have to fight on a boring plane because there are islands in the sky, arenas made of tall columns, and warehouses filled with interesting objects. Each level requires a unique approach to take advantage of the surroundings and the things on the screen. With good strategic planning, you can use tall pillars as a fortress to protect yourself from the elements of the game.

You can change your look at the avatar shop to make it unique and set you apart from other players. Once you and your friends have decided on a color, you will go to the store to change the color of your character. Due to the inherent chaos and a large number of effects, the fact that the characters do not have different colors during combat makes it more difficult to distinguish friends from opponents. Sometimes, using specific colors can work to your advantage. For example, you can sometimes gain an advantage by using colors like red or orange, which is often misinterpreted as an explosive effect.

Useful Tips of Stick Fight:

Jumping: Jumping is what will allow players to access higher ground and arm themselves with weapons faster. There are 3 types of jumps: Basic, Punch, and Block Punch. Some of them can be combined with a wall jump and reverse maneuver.Basic jumps are well, basic. It is the easiest and most basic jump that will allow players to access platforms and different areas without exposing themselves too much to enemy gunfire or harmful elements. They are helpful to close short distances. Next are the punch jumps. They are best described as medium-distance jumps and allow players to jump higher than normal. The reverse maneuver of a punch jump is called a punch slam, which can help players get to a lower portion of the map quickly.Finally, the block punch jump allows players to travel the furthest distance and players should familiarise themselves with this type of jump. Players can also wall jump effectively with the block punch jump to get extra mileage. It is also noted that reverse block punch jump maneuvres are super effective at dodging harm and taking down rivals below by surprise.

Recoil: It should also be mentioned that some weapons have a large recoil. Players can end up flying around the map trying to take down enemies and even lose a match because of the recoil itself. Therefore, players must take note of these weapons when engaging in combat: small shotgun, snake shotgun, snake minigun, revolvers, and the minigun as they will provide heavy firepower and the cost of control.However, it is also possible for players to execute recoil jumps. When firing these weapons, skilled players with enough practice can launch themselves from one end of the map to another or maintain air time whilst firing on enemies below. It should be said that players need to avoid snakes (especially those launched from their weapons) at all costs as snakes will attack anyone on sight.

Gun Use: If players can memorize ammo counts on some of the weapons, they’ll know when the weapon is almost used up. To avoid this, players can throw their weapons and pick them back up to automatically fill up ammunition. This can be very useful for players wielding low clip guns such as the RPG. Alternatively, weapons can be thrown at the enemy to dish out some extra damage.Using a quickdraw can also be useful for players. Players who pick up a new weapon and fire it immediately will notice that there are no accuracy penalties, even if the weapon has recoil. Weapons such as the revolver demonstrate this ability effectively, allowing players to snipe their opponents.

Boss Guides: During matches, players can become or will have to band together to defeat a player who morphs into a boss. There are several bosses in-game: blue, red, yellow, and rainbow. Players attempting to defeat bosses will find that the blue, yellow, and rainbow bosses are relatively easy to beat and will just need to stay alive and gun it down.The red boss is another matter though. Red bosses have 3 phases: pew, ring, and saw. During the pew phase, players need to shoot the boss whilst the other two phases (ring and saw) require players to stay behind cover and run respectively. Players who become bosses need to worry too much as players will cower before the might of your abilities.

I like to think of myself as a party game aficionado. While my spouse has a closet full of board games, I always have a drawer full of XBOX controllers and a steam library full of crazy indie games. One of my all time favorites was Stick Fight: The Game. A physics based multiplayer fighting game published by Landfall Games. Now with its release on the Nintendo Switch, you can bring the party to your home console.

The aim is to kill your friends, but the game has such a rapid turnaround that it’s hard to get mad when the action just keeps rolling. The players each get a stick figure character. Bare bones art but fluid movement. The stick figures are well animated with floaty jump physics. There’s a regular jump, double jump and even a wall jump to expand upon your movement options. After that there’s a grab/attack and a block that has a cooldown to prevent constant blocking. The controls are simple enough that anyone can jump in and get the hang of it, which is good as there isn’t a tutorial at all.

Once you’ve established your randomly generated colored stick figure, you’re placed in a flat platforming arena to battle it out. The players have health pools but they are not shown which heightens the intensity. Punches are wild and hard to control, which is okay as very quickly, weapons are dropped into the field. Spears give your hits extra range and the knife lets you use a dash attack. Winning is being the last stick figure standing, whether knocking your friends off screen to their death or taking their health to zero.

Now guns are truly what shine here. There are a wide swath of guns that range from pistols to full bazookas. Each is hard to master, with aiming being on the right stick and having cartoonish weight to the shots. Shooting a shotgun will toss you around wildly but a bazooka will send you flying off the screen to your death. There are also variations on the weaponry with snakes, yes snakes. Guns can also be snake guns. Shooting long floppy snakes that will wrangle themselves around you and overwhelm you to a slow death. Getting a snake minigun will fill the stage with snakes, and the game changes to who can get eaten slower. 1v1 is a very strategic cat and mouse game, but 4 players is free-for-all chaos. The amount, and which weapons are all variable in the settings if you’d like to customize the fun.

With an assortment of weapons to choose from and the chance to discover new ones as you progress, this game will keep you entertained and picking fights until your thumbs go numb. However, some technical issues with this application need to be fixed for a better gameplay experience.
