Bulma Is Looking For Balls!

That was a very juvenile attempt at being funny, but it is kind of true! You see, Bulma Adventure 2 has a story where Bulma is the main character and she is looking for the Dragon Balls or the crystal balls as this game puts it, to be honest, I am not entirely sure what the hell her deal is here as the writing is all over the place, but that kind of works in the games favor as it makes the whole thing so absurd that you have a lot of fun with it and never take what is happening too seriously.

Super Speed

One thing that I see as a positive with Bulma Adventure 2 that some may not agree with is the length of the game. You are looking at around 30 minutes to beat this game and that is if you have bad luck (more on that later). It is a game that has you zooming around each area as Bulma, talking to characters and getting into fights, trying to find those crystals and stay one step ahead of that horny SOB Piccolo as who knows what will happen if he manages to get his green hands on her. It is a very, very basic RPG style of game, but that just added to the charm for me.

If It Is Good Enough For Alex Kidd!

I do not know why I said that as the Alex Kidd games were average at best! However, it is very fitting as the combat in Bulma Adventure 2 goes of the same approach that the Alex Kidd games did and that is with pure luck. When you enter combat, you will take part in a paper, scissors, rock game so you have to try and get lucky and be the one to score a hit on the opponent. I get that some may find this frustrating to lose through no fault of your own, but I kind of dug it as it felt very appropriate considering the crazy nature of the game.

Show Me The Good Stuff

For the most part, Bulma Adventure 2 is a fantastic looking game. I love the way that the top down sections are not done with tiny little sprites. Instead, Bulma is quite large and very well detailed. The different locations that you go around are also well drawn and the whole game has a very “fun” look to it all. There is a decent amount of lewd content here and let me tell you, these guys are very brave doing what they do with Bulma as Vegeta would be super pissed. Perhaps that is why the lewd content has that weird pixelation thing going on! This is such a shame and honestly knocks the game down a full point for me as it looks great and I wanted to see the XXX stuff in all its glory!
