A Weird Way To Pay A Debt!

The story that Hailey’s Treasure Adventure is trying to tell made no freaking sense to me at all! From what I gather, a dude shows up at the farm of Hailey and wants her to marry him as her father is in a lot of debt to him. Turns out her family are these explorers, her dad has a treasure map and Hailey is going to go spelunking down this cave to get the money to pay off the debt! Oh, there is also something about how only her bloodline can go in this cave. The translation is hard to follow, but that kind of made it funny to me.

As far as the type of game that Hailey’s Treasure Adventure is, what we have here is a side scrolling adventure game and a pretty fun one too. The game has us exploring the different areas to try and find treasure that we will be using to pay off our debt, but also buy stuff to help us get further in the game. I was impressed with how smooth the controls were, the gameplay videos do not do it justice as I was sure this was going to be a bit rough around the edges. There is also combat in the game as you have to fight these monsters that are in the cave and doing so gets you gems which allow you to buy new outfits.

A Little Refining Would Be Nice

The gameplay as I said is fine, but Hailey’s Treasure Adventure just needs a couple of little tweaks and I feel like it could go from being a good to a great game. To start with, I wish that I could plug in a controller as they say that this game can be played with one hand, but that one hand needs at least 9 fingers on it as this game uses way too many buttons. Also, I wish that it was easier to see as you can zoom out and there is a map, but it is a bit on the clunky side to use. These issues if they were addressed would make this a much better game in my opinion.

I am not someone that usually likes when a chick is getting banged by monsters, but that is ultimately what we have here with Hailey’s Treasure Adventure when it comes to the lewd content and it is not bad, to be honest with you. Hey, it still does nothing to get my motor running, but it is very well done and if you want to see a chick get banged by a lobster looking creature, this is the game for you. Overall, the game looks good, but a bit more variety to the enemies would have been nice. I liked how you could change her outfit, but why the heck cannot I not do this in game and have to do it from the main menu?
