A Naughty Little Secret

The premise of TakenoteR is actually something I think is very well done. We have a cute husband and wife due where the wife works as a writer. The thing is, the husband does not know that his wife is a popular author of adult literature and she wants to keep it being a secret. They are heading off on a vacation to a beach resort and she has writer's block and I am sure you have guessed by now that the best way for her to cure her writer's block is by having a lot of XXX adventures of her own.

Lying To Herself

I am sure that some of you are thinking that TakenoteR sounds like every other NTR game where the wife cheats on the husband, but the writing of this game truly does set it apart from all the rest. You see, this wife is constantly trying to convince herself that the hot sex she is having with these other guys is not a terrible thing as it is all just for research for her next book. It is like she does not want to admit to herself that she is sexually frustrated with her husband. It is all done so well as she starts to dive more and more into it, it is really some of the best and most “logical” NTR stuff I have seen in a lewd game.

A Real Legend In The Making

The animated, almost cartoon style that TakenoteR has going on at first glance may look fun., but let me tell you, this is one very hot and steamy XXX game! It has a kind of Nickelodeon “anime” vibe about the characters, by that I mean Avatar and The Legend of Korra. It is all just done so very well and the sex scenes thanks to that excellent writing have a ton of sexual tension to them so when it does all “go off” it feels so much more rewarding. Now, the gameplay sections are done in your typical RPG Maker top down style, but I still think the game has a lot of personality here too.

If you have played any lewd game made with RPG Maker before, you are going to fall right into what this game wants from you. It is very basic stuff where you are mostly being tasked with going from point A to B and taking something from one place to another. Yes, this is basic, but it all works very well and the game always ensures that you know what you are doing. In many ways, apart from getting you all hot under the collar. The game has a very chilled and relaxed vibe about the way you play it which was something that I liked.
