This story revolves around Jake (name changeable) the elder son of the Monroe family.A family name which is well known in the city, a family which owns a big modelling agency that seemingly earns more money than it maybe should.Jake is 20 years old and is fairly fresh out of school. He still hasn’t figured out what he wants to work with and he doesn’t want too much help from his family because he deems that as being “too easy”.This story will take you through the many different jobs that Jake will try and how everytime something just doesn’t feel right.Where will he end up? How is he going to support himself financially? Is it going to be morally okay? Who knows…

You know what they say, everybody has a price! That Ted Dibiase quote is kind of fitting for this Money or Morals review as we play as a young early 20s man who is trying to find his place in the world. He comes from the wealthiest family in the city and we basically get to see how he “grows up”. I think it is supposed to be some kind of morality tale, but in my experience, this dude just wants to bang any chick that he can and he is not scared to use his family's wealth or influence to make it happen. I do wonder if the developer does add more if there will be more choices that do dive into the whole morality thing.

The gameplay of Money or Morals is very easy. I have heard some people say that this is a bit of a slow burn, but that was certainly not the case for me. You have to chat with a whole bunch of characters, getting to know them as best you can all the while trying to get into their pants! You do this by earning hearts and I found that it dished the hearts out at a very quick pace. Trust me, there is not one dude in this town/city who has a girlfriend who is going to put up much of a fight against you!

The visuals of Money or Morals are part awesome and part not so awesome. There are plenty of great looking characters in this game, I love the way that they are all fit with great looking bodies and the animations make things even hotter. I know that this may seem like a silly little thing to be impressed by, but the sweat that drips off characters in certain scenes made them even hotter! In all, I really like the realistic look of the visuals and while they are made with Honey Select, I do see that as a positive rather than a negative!

You know, as I am writing this the whole Money or Morals title just clicked! I think the morals aspect may not just be about using our wealth and social standing for sex but banging chicks who look like they were watching Dora the Explorer just a few weeks ago. While there are some great looking character renders in this game, there are also some that look just way too young.

Summary:

Money or Morals - a visual novel about the young offspring of a rich, famous and very influential family. Especially in his hometown. The protagonist hasn't really understood what he wants from his future lately. He rejects help from his relatives in order to try to find something that he likes on his own. Players will accompany him through a series of jobs, events, incidents and unexpected acquaintances. Which will help the character not only to outline further actions, but also to reveal a couple of secrets of his relatives. Which will also be useful to him in implementing his emerging plans.
