The anime that Takei’s Journey is based on is of course Naruto, but rather than just being a lewd retelling of a classic story arc from the anime the developer is trying their own thing here which I thought was pretty interesting. Think of this as a story that is set in the world of Naruto, rather than a story taken from the Naruto series if that makes sense. We are the last male (we get to name our MC) of the Takei Clan and we must try to save our clan members... and get laid in the process of course.

The gameplay loop of Takei’s Journey is one that you have probably seen a million times before. It is a lewd sandbox style of game, but there is a lot of grinding here. Getting your stats up takes a lot of doing the same thing over and over again and the visual novel sections can be tricky. Also, in general, this is one of those games where it can be really hard to know what you have to do next. Be sure to have a guide open when you play this. That was what I did and I think it is part of the reason I enjoyed the game as much as I did.

Of course, when you play a game like Takei’s Journey, you are probably wondering how good are the character renders? When a game is based on a popular series like Naruto, they have to get the character renders right and I feel that they have done a pretty damn good job here. If you are someone who is into the Naruto series, you will get a kick out of how they used some of the newer ladies in the series here. The sex scenes are animated and they are animated pretty damn well I might add.

Takei's Journey - a fan fiction project based on a well-known universe, which is more than popular, so the game will have more than enough fans. The main character is surprised to learn that he is in fact the last of a powerful family. His parents hid the fact that they belong to one of the most ancient clans. The enemies of which did not forget past grievances and took revenge many years later. And only because the elders did not want him to have the fate of another warrior, he did not get under the purge. But now women are contacting him who want to restore the former greatness and population of the family. So the guy will have a lot of things to do and worries on several fronts at once.
