After a break of a few months, Hamster and SNK are back with the newest mobile release in the ACA NeoGeo series. This actually released a few days ago, but we all missed it. The superb Garou: Mark of the Wolves ($3.99) hit iOS and Android following Metal Slug X. Read Shaun’s review of Metal Slug X here. Garou: Mark of the Wolves is out now on mobile with Hamster’s usual set of enhancements including controller support. If you do plan on playing with a controller, make sure to configure it from the title screen. I had to do that for my Backbone One PlayStation Edition. Garou: Mark of the Wolves debuted in 1999, and it is one of SNK’s best games as far as I’m concerned. I bought it on PS Vita, PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox through its various releases. As with prior releases on mobile, this costs half of what it does on consoles at $3.99. If you aren’t sure if this one is for you, I’d recommend going with one of the games Shaun recommended in his best games list. I imagine this will be updated since we have one of the best ACA NeoGeo releases finally on mobile. I’m curious to see if SNK brings more games to the platform soon.
