Who are Caliber coaches?

Caliber coaches are real, accredited trainers with years of experience.

Before being hired, our coaches go through a rigorous vetting process to ensure they have both the technical expertise and communication skills required to effectively train and motivate their clients. As a result, we hire only 1% of coaches who apply to work with us.

How do I communicate with my coach?

You'll use a variety of ways to communicate with your coach.

This includes live video calls, as well as video and text messaging via the Caliber app. Your coach is available to you 24x7 and you can expect a response within a few hours (unless it's in the middle of the night, of course!)

How often does my coach check in with me?

Check ins are as frequent as you'd like them.

At a minimum, your coach will check in with you several times a week, inclusive of a comprehensive weekly review of your activity and your training plan for the upcoming week. While some of our members prefer less frequent, more diagnostic check-ins, many of our members appreciate regular check ins during the week to stay accountable to their plan.

How does my coach measure my progress?

Throughout the program, we'll be measuring everything you do, from your strength workouts, to your cardio activity, to your body stats, to your nutritional information - even the instructional lessons you complete within the Caliber app.

Your coach has real-time access to this data, so they know precisely how you're progressing, with visibility into your biggest opportunity areas. Your coach uses your personalized training data to inform their coaching interactions with you, and to make optimizations to your plan as you proceed through the program.

I rarely write reviews but feel compelled to highlight my extreme satisfaction with both the Caliber App/program and Maddison my fitness coach. Caliber is more than a fitness app, it’s a complete, tailored program designed to educate, align on and track one’s fitness goals and connect (well) to other adjacent health apps (Cronometer, Apple health) and wearables such as Apple Watch and the Oura ring, to name a few. This ecosystem provides me a 360 approach to my health and fitness.The absolute winning combo is the coaching support I get via Caliber. I’m a 65 yr old woman with obesity (until recently!) and a relatively new knee. I was matched with Maddison, a certified trainer, who set me up with a challenging and progressive program. We meet regularly, address modifications and monitor my progress real-time. I was hesitant at 1st about not having a trainer by my side while working out, but honestly it’s a non-issue.Thank you Caliber for this excellent program and for listening to your clients. The Caliber platform far exceeds my expectations. The app is intuitive and the training programs are rooted in evidence-based, modern exercise science. The in-depth metrics provided in the app are highly motivating. There are video tutorials for each exercise along with incredible support from the trainer.My NASM certified trainer, Alexis, is the perfect fit for me. She knows the science of exercise which is refreshing in today’s “everyone is an expert” world. We communicate daily and it seems as though she is right there with me in the gym. I can message her in real time and she gets back to me instantly.My standards are high - I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and have been practicing for over 31 years. I joined Caliber after searching for a solution to my non-motivation for working out. I’m 59 years old and haven’t lifted weights for years.
