This link is limited geographically. Watching live through DStv within SuperSport is available only to subscribers in sub-Saharan Africa and surrounding areas. For users in those regions who already pay for DStv, the ability to move from scores and news to a live feed adds clear value. Outside those areas, however, this aspect of the app will not be accessible.

Visually, SuperSport keeps things fairly simple, with a straightforward presentation of lists, scores, and clips. Despite that, moving through the app does not always feel intuitive. Navigating to the right section or finding specific information can be awkward, which makes regular use less comfortable than it should be.

Account handling is another pain point. Both logging in and creating a new account can be troublesome, with users facing difficulty at these basic steps. That is particularly frustrating when you need to sign in to unlock features such as the DStv link.

Stability issues round out the technical concerns. The app is reported to crash frequently, which can interrupt live match tracking, highlight viewing, or even browsing news. When this is combined with slow or missing score updates, the overall experience feels unreliable.

User Reviews of SuperSport:

Enjoy the sport tremendously. Wish the packages were cheaper however. Sometimes the Supersport details are not updated correctly or there are no information for example local T20 or 4 day series - no logs or tables, etc. Other than that, extremely impressed.

This app has a lot to praise however the new update seems to have a glitch with notifications of live football games. Before the update, notifications of goals and bookings etc were informative and helpful, now they don't make sense. For example it just gives a players name and minutes and that's it. Whether it's a booking or goal or penalty, who knows. Please may this be resolved. Otherwise, great app. Also, please add F1 qualifying to the match centre as well. Only main race is there now.

I absolutely love this app. Use it all the time. My only negatives is that the reminders aren't quite accurate and if you read a long article the whole page reloads if you go back. Also can the Dev Team not put in more sports? I mean SuperSport plays the NBA on TV now, should the app not show us what's happening on that front? Would be great if it could.

After some updates made recently after some concerns/frustrations firt logged, I am fully satisfied with the app, and is truly helpfull when on the go, as well as during LS.
