I miss the old Fitbit dashboard. This app is nothing like that. I will continue to use it, but if you haven’t gotten a Fitbit device yet, I would recommend purchasing a different fitness tracker. It doesn't always sync and sometimes the app is black and doesn't load when I start it up. Edit: I was given access to a potential update of the app, and let me say, it's beautiful! it's so easy, understandable and motivating!
After a re-install of the app and factory reset of my Fitbit Inspire 2 and subsequent re-pairing of the device to my phone the automatic sleep tracking is functioning properly once again. Switching over to the public preview caused some issues, but setting everything up again from scratch fixed it. Thanks to assistance from the support team everything's working once again.
Had ongoing issues at the point Fitbit accounts were moved to Google. After the transition hiccups worked themselves out the app has stabilized in performance and provides an equally satisfactory experience as before. I also opted for a Google Pixel watch since that device will be primarily supported in the futute. Finally, I'd like a Fitbit measure in food where I can log protein grams.
