Jarvis is an AI agent application. Users can interact with it entirely through voice. Simply say "Hey Jarvis" to wake up the AI agent, and it will listen to your response. It can help you control your phone. If you ask it to check the weather forecast or report times, it can quickly remind you with voice. It also saves remembered conversations and responds to users based on the current context. With an Iron Man-like style, this AI agent is humorous, witty, and helpful. It can directly read files on the phone and analyze the effects the user wants to achieve.

No buttons — talk naturally. The Android app and terminal build both rely on voice input and spoken output.

Continuous conversation mode

Say “Hey Jarvis” to start a hands-free session. JARVIS keeps listening and responding until you say “bye”.

Browser & quick info

Opens your browser on request, reports weather and time, and handles general queries using the Gemini API.

Session memory only

Remembers context during your current session for fluid dialogue. No DB/long-term storage yet.

Reference Files Directly

Jarvis can read any file on your system. Reference them by path and it will read, analyze, and act on the content automatically.

Be Specific About Output

Tell Jarvis exactly what format you want. "In a markdown table", "as a bash script", "in 3 bullet points" — it follows formatting instructions precisely.

Chain Commands Naturally

Jarvis understands "and then" instructions. One message can trigger a 5-step chain: analyze → create ticket → notify on Slack → update status → summarize.

Bot Leopold should also monitor important channels and notify me depending on urgency.

Examples might include:

tracking new opportunities on platforms I work with (in my case it’s Jarvis)

For this to work well, the assistant needs clear instructions about what is important to me.

Creativity

Monitoring events can be defined through rules. But from AI I also expect initiative and creativity.

For example, during conversations the assistant might notice that I have not done anything special for my wife in a long time. With only a general instruction like “help improve my life”, it could suggest preparing a surprise — and even propose ideas.

And ideally, it would do that without me explicitly asking for it.

Smart home interaction

Connecting assistants to smart homes is an obvious next step. Being able to control lighting, climate, or other devices is a natural capability.

However, there is a major obstacle: most hardware vendors do not provide open access to their systems.

So the biggest challenge will likely not be teaching the assistant how to control devices, but actually gaining reliable access to those devices.
