You access Baxter’s Step 3 Moments by clicking a yellow button on the right hand side of the Moment Selection Screen.

The extra Step 3 scene for Baxter in the ‘and then summer ended’ section happens after the credits!

You need to play all of Baxter’s Step 3 Moments to get the option to play Baxter’s Step version of Step 4.

Baxter’s DLC begins in the Step 3 opening. You can play from the beginning of the story until that point or start a new file and use an option at the start of the beta to skip right to Step 3.

Save files from this beta won’t work in other beta builds or the main game. You can load saves from the main game in the beta but you need to play Step 3 from the beginning to see the new content.

Minor spoilers: There’s only one way to start a romantic relationship with Baxter in Step 3. There are three ways to start a romantic relationship in Step 4. You can date Baxter in Step 3 and 4, only date him in S3 and not in S4, not date him in S3 and only start dating in S4, or never date him.

The rest of Baxter’s Step 4 is now playable. His story is included from start to finish!

This game takes a different approach that emphasizes the player experience, over whether or not you achieve a good or bad outcome. In fact there are no “good” or “bad” choices in the game. It's just life. It feels nice that you can have the platonic option for the relationship and taking consideration if the reader is okay with the intimacies.Every moment tugs at the heartstrings. Not only your relationship with the childhood friend and the other love choices, but that moments also included the relationship of genuine friendships, familial sibling, parent figures and basically everyone around you. Some may grown distance, but some may bonded further.It really made me feels nostalgic and can't help but to make me to look back at my life growing up. I think this game will be a game that something I will play again in the future, whenever I feel nostalgic.

I just finished my first play through of this game. I originally got just the base game around 2020/2021 but I never played it because I saw there were paid dlcs that I didn't have the money for. I ended up buying all of the dlcs during the last steam summer sale and decided to play this game because I was bored and the concept interested me. I can say, without a doubt, that this game is going to be one that I replay at least once a year. I have cried and laughed and just felt so seen just during my first play through. I was a foster kid who got adopted and I've had to make the hard decision to go no contact with the people who adopted me for my mental health and seeing our character also be adopted and having the best moms and older sister just made me so happy. I love how diverse all of the characters are and how fleshed out everyone is. I love how you don't have to romance Cove or Baxter or Derick, you can get good ending by just being friends with them. I love how customisable the character you play is, when I saw the different pronouns you can have or the fact that if you make your character AFAB you can have a choice to be on puberty blockers or have top surgery. There are honestly so many good things I can say about this game, it has honestly become one of my favorite games.

giggling and kicking my feet like a little girl AUGHHHHH. this is PERFECT for a bookworm like me who enjoys friends to lovers trope (and i can even change that if i please!) and i looooooooooove the fact that it's kind of "choices matter" and i can customize so many things, choose my own personality and answers and just ugh i loved it so much, so wholesome and adorable T-T.

Therefore, players will experience interesting stories with this character and share loneliness with their best friends. Although the mechanics of this game are not difficult, it is focused on the player’s choices to develop the story, so players will need to know what they need to do.
