What I think made me really like Innocence or Money was the MC, Jennifer. Jennifer is a fantastic and very likable main character. The story is about her moving from her small and sleepy little town to try and start a new life in the city. Yes, this is a plot that we have seen a million times before in other lewd games, but the fact Jennifer is so likable makes this one stand out. Some may say that the story moves at a slow pace, but I would argue and say that it moves along at a more realistic pace.

I think that Innocence or Money does have a good story and that story is presented very well. You feel like you get to know Jennifer really well and you do build a good connection with her. However, there was a point in the game where another character was introduced and I felt like we spent way too much time with them! If you have played the game you will know what I am talking about. It was almost like it went from this being a story about this woman called Jennifer to now there being a second just as important character, but they lacked all the charm and likability that Jennifer had. I wish that they did not focus on this secondary character as much as they did, to be honest.

If you read that in a Forest Gump style voice, you are awesome and we can be friends, also I am one of the people that feel Jenny is one of the biggest villains in cinema history! Anyway, back on topic, Innocence or Money is a lewd visual novel and the idea here is that we are in control of the life of Jennifer and it is basically up to us how she handles her new life in the city. You can have her working hard at her job, making friends, trying to find love, and just be a normal and nice girl. That was the route I went as I liked Jennifer right from the start and seeing her get railed by a bunch of random dudes was not what I was looking for. However, you can go that route where you have her embrace her darker side and get really naughty. I applaud the developer for really making it feel like your choices in the game matter.
