Honestly, a great remake. takes everything from the original game and just makes it better. reworks the game so its all seamless loading. great graphics, and performance was good besides the stuttering which was had multiple times. i play at 4k max settings with dlss quality and was averaging around 100 or so fps.Dead Space is one of the most praised classics out there, so I decided to give it a shot since it also looked pretty interesting, and I've gotta say, it was a pretty good experience.

The ambience is great, the visuals are fantastic, the gameplay is pretty fun and while the story may be a bit lackluster in my opinion, it is still interesting enough to keep you playing.I did find some things to be annoying or flawed, like, for example, it seemed like the game gave me all the resources I needed at the moment instead of having me manage what I had picked up, this makes for a less interesting experience imo and sometimes plays out more like a normal shooter (especially near the end).Anyways, there are more flaws I would point out, like how the game becomes a bit too repetitive at times or how the story is told, but I would have to get into some more specific details.Complaints aside, I'd give it a 7/10, definitely recommend it to horror fans, i bought this for 12 euros and got over 31 hours with 1 playthrough and another with ng+. will attempt impossible mode soon. you get quite alot of value for this amount. easily 9/10 for a remake. hoping they remake the 2nd game as well.

 We didn't think they could have topped the original, but they did a dozen times over! Their game engine is incredible and allowed for so many 'quality of life' changes in game mechanics as well as amazing improvements in graphics. They stayed true to the heart and soul of the original while tweaking some story details that give deeper character to Isaac and make his horrifying situation even more compelling. If you liked the original first or the second one or ever considered playing them, this is THE game to play!!
